Hello clones!
[Chloe made it about half an hour, sitting in her new Mexican dorm room, messing with the laptop she had just bought, before the quiet and worrying about Max and just feeling like a complete shit for leaving finally got to her and she went off in search of other people.]
[Which was what brought her to the outside of the room the
clonessisters were staying in, hesitating for a moment before she knocked on the door.][She looked like shit and she felt like shit and after her insistent declarations two whole days ago that she was going to stay for the seminar no matter what, she was basically expecting this to go terribly. Oops.]
no subject
Chloe? Is everything alright? What are you doing here?
no subject
[She opened her mouth to answer, but then stopped, realizing she had no idea what to say, and finally she just shrugged helplessly and sighed.]
...It's a long story.
no subject
[Food, she finds, seems to be the one thing that everyone responds to. She gives Chloe a little arm squeeze as she ushers her in, and places the gun back on the table.]

Chloe, what are you doing here?
[ Judging by the look on Chloe's face, she's not sure she wants to hear the answer. ]
no subject
[Chloe started to answer the same way she had Alison, but Sarah was...different? Was it strange for Sarah to be different after only a few weeks? But she was, and the empty explanation just kind of stalls out as the memories of yesterday came flooding back and she just kind of sighed.]
...They set off some kind of taser in my brain when I didn't show up. [Her voice was quiet, none of that usual fire there. Not even a curse. And she looked around the apartment instead of at Sarah. What a lovely carpet.] And I just...I couldn't go back.
no subject
[ Without thinking about it, Sarah pulls Chloe into a hug. She's a surprisingly good hugger for someone who's always walking around in leather pants. She knows this might only embarrass Chloe more, but she doesn't care. Chloe is just a kid, really. She needs someone to know they're here for her. ]
You're alright.

Once Chloe's settled in the kitchen, Cosima approaches. She pulls up a stool right next to Chole, sitting close enough that their shoulders touch.]
Hey. It's good to see you're okay.
no subject
Oh. Hey. ...Thanks.
[Okay wasn't what she'd call it, but...close enough.]

february 20th, clone club headquarters!
She can be found one afternoon, sprawled out in the middle of the living room floor surrounded by travel books, brochures, and a map. She's laying on her stomach, paging through a travel book, tabbing possible excursion contenders with post-it notes. Anyone who wanders too close (and she's kind of hard to avoid) will likely be roped into helping.]
Hey, hey. Come help me with this.
no subject
I'm busy, Cosima.
no subject
[She reaches one hand up from her spot on the floor, brandishing a brochure for a particularly tacky tourist trap at Alison. Cosima doesn't even want to go there, but maybe the threat will convince Alison to help her plan things.]

I am planning our first excursion.

[He doesn't look displeased, though. It's something Izzie might have done, and for the first time he starts to think about their similarities.]
Have you been to Mexico before?

2/20
Late Saturday night, he's sitting at the tiny kitchen table with a beer and a journal open to "Metabolic consequences of the occlusion of the main pancreatic duct with acrylic glue after pancreaticoduodenectomy". A thrilling read, no doubt. He gives a little wave to anyone who comes in the kitchen.]
Enjoying the vacation?
[It's flat sarcasm. He would much rather be back in Nonah any moment now.]
no subject
It's not a vacation, no matter what Cosima says.

Besides, the weather is nice. On this day in particular she decides she's tired of being cooped up inside and heads out of the apartment complex to explore, maybe grab some food or drink. Anyone she passes by on her way outside, she nudges with a shoulder. ]
Wanna come out with me?
no subject
Yes. I thought you'd never ask. Let me grab my maps.
no subject
[ Okay then. She'll wait by the door. She's glad to see Cosima in a good mood, at least, especially after how tense things have been in the past few weeks. ]
