Hello clones!
[Chloe made it about half an hour, sitting in her new Mexican dorm room, messing with the laptop she had just bought, before the quiet and worrying about Max and just feeling like a complete shit for leaving finally got to her and she went off in search of other people.]
[Which was what brought her to the outside of the room the
clonessisters were staying in, hesitating for a moment before she knocked on the door.][She looked like shit and she felt like shit and after her insistent declarations two whole days ago that she was going to stay for the seminar no matter what, she was basically expecting this to go terribly. Oops.]

Chloe? Is everything alright? What are you doing here?
no subject
[She opened her mouth to answer, but then stopped, realizing she had no idea what to say, and finally she just shrugged helplessly and sighed.]
...It's a long story.
no subject
[Food, she finds, seems to be the one thing that everyone responds to. She gives Chloe a little arm squeeze as she ushers her in, and places the gun back on the table.]
no subject
I had some cookies on the plane.
[And hadn't thought to eat since. She had smoked though, of course. That was like eating, right?]
no subject
Well, we have some leftover soup that you can have. Is your fri-- is Max here as well? She's welcome to get some food as well.
no subject
No.
[Chloe just kind of slumped into whatever chair was near the kitchen.]
She made me leave. Soup sounds fine.

Just...some shit.

Chloe, what are you doing here?
[ Judging by the look on Chloe's face, she's not sure she wants to hear the answer. ]
no subject
[Chloe started to answer the same way she had Alison, but Sarah was...different? Was it strange for Sarah to be different after only a few weeks? But she was, and the empty explanation just kind of stalls out as the memories of yesterday came flooding back and she just kind of sighed.]
...They set off some kind of taser in my brain when I didn't show up. [Her voice was quiet, none of that usual fire there. Not even a curse. And she looked around the apartment instead of at Sarah. What a lovely carpet.] And I just...I couldn't go back.
no subject
[ Without thinking about it, Sarah pulls Chloe into a hug. She's a surprisingly good hugger for someone who's always walking around in leather pants. She knows this might only embarrass Chloe more, but she doesn't care. Chloe is just a kid, really. She needs someone to know they're here for her. ]
You're alright.
no subject
...I'm really not.
[She managed to say, muffled by Sarah's shoulder.]
no subject
Did Max come with you?
no subject
No.
no subject
Did something happen?
no subject
She wouldn't leave. And I just...I couldn't go back.
She's sending me stuff she's recording from the seminar so I can put it online...
[Yes she thinks it's a dumb idea. Yes she is going to do it anyway.]

Once Chloe's settled in the kitchen, Cosima approaches. She pulls up a stool right next to Chole, sitting close enough that their shoulders touch.]
Hey. It's good to see you're okay.
no subject
Oh. Hey. ...Thanks.
[Okay wasn't what she'd call it, but...close enough.]
no subject
You feel like talking about what happened? You can totally say no.
no subject
...I wouldn't even know where to start.
no subject
[Cosima can understand being overwhelmed. She can only imagine what happened to Chloe if she was willing to leave Max alone in America.]
no subject
So you know how when I didn't show up to 'class' that first day they porter-grabbed me there?
...When I didn't show yesterday too, they did it again. 'cept they set off some kind of taser in my head too.
no subject
[Cosima's eyes go wide, though she shouldn't be surprised. Something similar had happened to Sarah when she hadn't followed the Russian's rules. Still, she can't help but think that it shouldn't have happened to Chloe. It wasn't right. None of this was right.
She pulls Chloe into a tight hug. Chloe looks like she could use one, and honestly, so could Cosima.]
I'm so sorry.
no subject
I'm being such a little bitch about all this shit aren't I.
