1: Part-time living (Maurtia Falls) [Maou is managing Blessed Bounties, doing shit all around the store. Maybe he greets the worst possible customer (read: you) at the door. Or he accidentally bumps into you while stocking (as any good manager should help out with!). Or maybe he's "joking" about world domination with his coworkers, and you overhear. Whatever! Just a day in the life.]

2: Greetings, humans! (Heropa) [Maurtia Falls has everything a guy could ask for. But sometimes, a demon needs to get away from that disquieting cloud of anger and despair. It's filling, power-wise, but frankly, it's friggin' depressing.

Which takes us to Heropa. Maou heads down a busy street with no destination in mind but a terrible fast food restaurant to feed the unhealthy hunger. In his bargain brand clothes and Boring Anime Protag hair, he'd fade into the background...if he didn't stare up at the buildings like a friggin' tourist. A little old lady spots him and snatches his sleeve with a monstrous vice grip. Is it a harpie?! A fury come to drag him to hell? A STREET-SIDE MISSIONARY?!?!?]

Hello, dear. You're an imPort, aren't you? Would you like to sign the back of this ah . . . [digs around in her purse] receipt? My grandson would love it.

[Wow, grannie. Do you even care? Are you a demon assassin out to kill me??? Regardless, Maou smiles and signs the paper with a flourish. The old woman squints at the receipt]

Demon King Satan?

Yep! [Maou props a hand on his hip and poses. Friendly. Casual. Approachable!] The real deal. [And reeking of minimum wage. The old woman pales. She pauses, her life flashing before her eyes...

Before she laughs her friggin' ass off. She may have a coronary. Or fall down in someone's path and break a hip. Or maybe someone should join her mockery of Satan's good name]

3: Whelp. I'm lost (Anywhere) [Wandering around the city with an actual, literal paper map in hand. He walks up to YOU! Yes, you!]

Hey, where's the best animal adoption center? Questionable morals among staff totally accepted, I'm not picky.
