[On Thursday of this week, the Amestrian residents of the estate left to take a few days to clean out what was left of their belongings in their old Heropa apartment. It was long overdue, honestly. Particularly the small mountains worth of books they'd kept juuuust a little too long past the due date. (The amount of the fines involved were downright embarrassing.) With as much work getting things returned and cleaned and emptied out as they had to do, it was only natural for them to be out of contact for a couple of days. Definitely nothing odd happened here.

If Ed and Winry look an inch or two taller, a little older, a lot less stressed, well...! Strange things are common among imPorts.]

[Somewhere outside of De Chima is a beautiful patch of land set beside a lake with a backdrop of mountains, and the Vorkokosigans have just snatched it up in a rushed land purchase. Now it looks like they're setting up for some serious home construction...sort of. There are quite a bit of construction materials piled up in three different piles, one significantly larger than the other two, but there is a distinct lack of any tools that could be used on them or anything resembling a construction crew. Just Roy Mustang and Ed Elric consulting a set of blueprints and starting to pace out measurements on the ground.

Not too far from the """construction""" zone a simple picnic has been laid out with bits contributed from anyone who might have thought to bring something. The alchemists have very helpfully brought cheap takeout pizza and sodas. Truly a fine contribution for these royal space nerds they're working for.]

[ With the Dendarii Security Corps officially off the ground, Miles has decided to officially host the group's first meeting. With permission from Aunt Cass (and a generous catering fee for coffee and pastries), they've taken over the Lucky Cat Café for the evening. More food has been brought in or catered as well, including a spread from Yuri; altogether there is no shortage of goodies tonight.

The focal point of the affair is a set of tables that Miles and Gregor have pushed together to make a central meeting area. Over the course of the meeting there'll be plenty of job packets available with list of various missions and potential jobs waiting to get taken up with the local population. Personnel lists are less public but if you've forgotten someone's name, Miles or Gregor are both here to help you out with that. Mostly everyone is encouraged to get to know each other better.

Come and mill around, meet your fellow Dendarii, pick up some jobs or just drink coffee and people watch. There's a lot of people here tonight. ]

The desk he's claimed is stacked high with books on topics ranging from neurology to space travel, and pages from his notebook are spread out with various notes scrawled across them. Looks like a wonderful day for a super nerd! Riiiight up until he bolts straight up, toppling his chair over and knocking a few books from the table in a spectacular clatter of noise, and gapes pale-faced and shaken at the message that's just come through on his communicator.]
