A Holiday In the Mountains
Dec. 17th, 2017 10:02 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
WHO: Gold, Doc Brown, Newton and Hermann
WHERE: Cabin resort in the Rockies
WHEN: In the week or so leading up to Christmas
WHAT: As a way to help Doc unwind after a stressful start of the month, he's rented a cabin out and far away from sunny Florida, and invited his friends to join them. Multiple threads within.
WARNINGS: None as yet.
[Arriving]
While Gold's magic could bring them up to the cabin itself, he knew asking for a rented car to be waiting for them there would seem unusual, and he really didn't want to draw too much attention to the fact that ImPorts were coming this far away from their familiar military bases. So they arrived, really, at their car ride, which would take them up into the mountains of Utah. It was bitterly cold compared to Heropa, with snow on the ground but clear blue skies in the mid-afternoon that brings them up to their cabin.
It's large. Honestly, more than they would need, but space had been part of the draw.
Gold looks pleased with himself, at the very least. It had come at considerable expense -- he will never reveal how much, but so far, worth every penny. They would see if it added up in the end, however.
