['Hovercraft engineer'. If it wasn't so close to blowing his cover he'd almost enjoy the attention to detail their kidnappers put into bringing people here. Engineering may not be as near and dear to his heart as flying, but it's a close second and moreover it's something he's good at.

Sure, it's not exactly mollifying, but it gives him something to do. Which, on this charming day, involves casing the various establishments of a like persuasion. He's just leaving one such place when a woman over by the garage gets his attention, arguing with one of the mechanics. Jim tucks his hands into his pockets, slides over to them unannounced, and--]
