WHAT: Jay's been out for a few days due to a porter glitch. Readjusting is a thing.

[ Jay knows about how people can be ported out on occasion, he knew Cisco had the last time they'd sat down to talk. But he'd never really expected it to happen to himself and it's the most disconcerting thing the speedster has come across in a good while. And he's seen a lot of crazy things but a porter glitch takes the cake. Back home a long time has passed, many things have happened and right now he's standing in the apartment that he shares with the others looking stumped.

It's like he's not been gone at all.

He gravitates towards the large fridge, pulling the door open and blinking in surprise. There are a few Chinese takeout cartons in there with Jay scrawled on them. He remembers putting them in there a long time ago but they're still there? There's some trepidation as he grabs one and opens it, expecting to be assaulted by a plume of moldy dust and frowning when it's just a normal (if not oversized) general tso's chicken.]

What the - ? [ There's nothing like feeling off balance right about now. Being stuck on Earth-2 had been an unforeseen and troubling thing, but this? This has Jay feeling off his game and he frowns some more at the carton, vaguely wondering if he's being messed with.]

[Park]
[ It's still bothering Jay enough that at some point he relocates outside for the fresh air, aiming for a park bench and sitting down with a sigh. It's been a few days in Heropa, but many months back home and trying to get used to that is jarring. What do people even know? No-one knew back home what was going on, but something in the air had told Jay that would chance. Everything was turning on a dime, moving quickly towards something, but as to what Jay had never gotten to see. Such was the porter's timing.

For now he'll sit there, arms folded and brows drawn together in a frown as Jay tries to figure out his next steps, barely paying attention to anything or anyone around him.]

[At night, Kid Flash is doing an awful lot of patrolling; zipping through the Porter cities, a bolt of yellow and red that snaps around tight corners, snatches purses back and hands them off to their owners with hardly a moment's pause. He's keeping an eye out for struggling heroes just starting out, for speedsters looking for a race, for anybody being an ass, honestly.

During the day, Wally West completes his final month of schooling as a senior at De Chima High, and he's absolutely setting shit up for a senior prank. Do you want to ask what he's doing with the doorjambs? Nah, better not. However, he is pretty well known for being a nerd supreme, and can also be found in tutoring centers offering help with science and math final studying.

Most evenings and weekends, Wally West is at StarkTech in the chemistry labs, conducting experiments with some sort of gel and fire combo and writing up reports that are probably like, two weeks late. Prompt documentation is not this kid's forte. He'll also pop into the Cyber Security division to visit his pal Dick Grayson almost every day.]
