Valentine's Day had come and gone. It wasn't convenient for Kristoff to get down to Heropa without notice and while Anna couldn've used the Porter to go his way, she wasn't sure he'd appreciate the surprise. While Anna could be obtuse, she was trying to get better about sensing what made Kristoff uncomfortable. Among other things, that included feeling put on the spot and unable to do what he considered right by Anna. While she could not have cared less about the distance between royalty and orphaned mountain men, Anna knew that same opinion was not one Kristoff could easily find his way to sharing.

So, Anna swallowed her disappointment in February and decided to look forward toward doing something special in March as Kristoff promised. Hiking and a picnic somewhere with a view!

The day came quick and by its arrival Anna was practically shaking with excitement. That morning she'd dressed in her outdoor best. Her outfit was almost entirely modern, save for the boots that came with her to this world from home. They served her well in the mountains of Arendelle and she was hopeful Kristoff might even notice the touch of home. A backpack was filled with packed lunches for them both, carrots for Sven, and a small assortment of fresh chocolates as a belated gift for the passed romantic holiday.

A scooter ride and Porter transfer later had Anna at the compound in Nonah. There were a few faces she recognized from the trips she'd made in the weeks following Kristoff's relocation and each earned a wave and a friendly smile. She skipped her way through the building and outside, looking for the tall blonde, and his reindeer companion, all the while.

WHO: Anna, Elsa
WHERE: The antiques store where Elsa works
WHEN: Valentine's Day
WHAT: Anna stops in with the gift of chocolate and the sisters end up plotting to open their own sweets store!
WARNINGS: None.

Valentine's Day is a special one if only because it's given Anna the excuse to spoil the people she cares about. Given the chance she'd do as such routinely, but between Kristoff's humble nature and Elsa's anxiety it's a lot harder to do without making her loved ones feel award. Today though, she is going above and beyond to show her affections. In Elsa's case, it's a deep, sisterly love and adoration, one that deserves all the recognition Anna can give it.

Things are improving with the sisters, slowly, but still improving. That helps give Anna the courage to leave some chocolates at Elsa's home but also show up at the antique store. While it's assorted truffles waiting at home, Anna has brought along finger food sized chocolate cake, chocolate cheese cake, and chocolate mousse in a little plastic container wrapped in a pretty crimson ribbon.

The small bell over the door jingles and announces Anna's entrance just ahead of her voice.

"Elsa? Are you in today?" she wonders as she heads towards the register, glancing down aisles of old treasures along the way.

WHAT: Big sister brought Anna a souvenir. Anna wanted to see her in person.
WARNINGS: Angst

Once Anna hung up with Elsa, she got permission to leave work early. She raced home, fast as she could. The suggestion that she needed to clean up wasn't truthful but she figured a few efforts to make it seem honest couldn't hurt. Really, whatever it took to guarantee Elsa stopping by. Anna hadn't seen her sister in months and that had felt far too long. It reminded her of their estrangement before arriving in this world. Such memories were painful and Anna couldn't help wanting for more. Her heart was already frozen, what more damage could be done?

So Anna waited, trying her best to not appear overly excited when Elsa arrived. She pulled the door open with a smile, trying not to actually squeal. In spite of herself, Anna reached out to hug Elsa, wanting terribly to show her sister just how much she cared.
