[OPEN] Time keeps marching on
WHO: Elsa and YOU
WHERE: Around Heropa
WHEN: September 16th and the days following
WHAT: An assortment of things
WARNINGS: None.
[Option A: The Antique Store]
Elsa's been keeping up with her work, and she's even gotten a few raises. She's come to enjoy her time in the store, taking care of the musty and worn items and the customers who want them. It's some time to feel almost normal, relaxing work that she can let herself get wrapped up in.
She's carefully unwrapping a set of antique china they recently got to put in a display case when she hears the bell above the door ring.
"Welcome." She's much more chipper in her greeting than she used to be.
[Option B: The Beach]
Phoenix was gone, but Elsa still came to the small cove he'd shown her to practice her powers sometimes. Not with anyone around, of course- the last thing she wanted was to hurt someone. But even with the consequences of her powers fully revealed to her, she couldn't ignore they existed.
Sometimes she just had to let go.
She tries not to do anything to big or noticeable, just snow flakes and small ice sculptures that would melt away in the sun and as the waves washed over them. Even as it cooled down with the change of seasons, it wasn't nearly so cold that her ice could stay indefinitely, and she didn't intend to make it that way.
But she gets a little carried away today, making an intricate spiral sculpture that reaches up and up, glittering with small formations she makes on its sides: roses and birds and other pretty patterns that come to mind. She's so wrapped up in that she doesn't notice when it starts getting high enough to peek over the rocks, visible to anyone who happened to look that way.
She's having a good time, after all.
[Option C: Residence #27]
Elsa doesn't come out of her room much, but when she does, it's usually to curl up in a chair and read a book or watch television (she's still amazed by that one). Sometimes she can be caught cooking herself something easy to eat.
Either way, she'll greet any housemate she sees with a pleasant, "Hello."

To know the city better then others.
This place is interesting however.
So there's an impossibly tall figure with his hands in his pockets, examining a few of the items.]

Can I help you with anything? Are you looking for something specific?

...Just browsing thanks.
[Serious, cold, a little standoffish. There's a selection of toys, all of it's old.
Some of it is gorgeous]
Do you buy items or just...have them donated?

[She gives the answer smoothly, almost like it's rehearsed.]

Grabbing the stick, Winry throws it as hard as she can. While Zoey is chasing the stick, Winry turns around, seeing something sparkling over the top of the rocks. And the sparkling thing is getting larger. "Wow..." Someone had to be building that, but how? When Zoey came running back, Winry hushed her before she could start barking, leashing her up to lead her around the outcropping of rocks.
"...Wow!"

Oh no, oh no.
She holds her hands out like somehow that will hide what she was doing.
"St-stay back, okay?"
She doesn't mean it threateningly, but it's not safe.

"Yes," she says, breathless, and starts to tug her gloves on. "Thank you, but it's really not... you need to stay away from it."

It was easy enough to smile when she was at work and when she got home Anna just kept to herself. Spending most of her life alone made it easy to learn how to keep it all in.
Elsa wasn't the only one who'd learned to be distant.
Still, she felt lonelier than ever and eventually decided she wanted to see her sister. They were at least conversational enough that Elsa no longer ran and Anna was willing to take it where she could.
The shop bell ring through the store as Anna let herself in. She blinked, looking at antiques that were still more modern than she was used to and it was distracting. Eventually she found her way to the section of the store Elsa was working in and heard the Queen's pretty voice wafting over the shelves in greeting.
"Hi!" Anna responded, putting on a smile that might have been a bit too bright.

Some of her carefully composed saleswoman face falls at Anna's appearance, but she puts it back on quickly.
"What are you doing here?"
She already guesses that Anna came to see her, but she doesn't know why. It's true that they're on more friendly terms now, but that doesn't mean she wants them to push their luck. Not when she's still not sure about her powers.
Though they've been doing better here, it's true.
no subject
Wait, hadn't she already said that? The princess blinked and decided to let it go.
Poking at a strange little device, something to grind coffee beans before electricity existed, she watched the handle spin a bit. She made eye contact again and kept that awkward smile in place.
"I don't know. Thought I might find something to put in my house? The roommates might like it."
It was a thinly veiled excuse to see her sister, the last known from her own world.
no subject
She looks at the expression on Anna's face, and even with their forced separation, she knows something about it is just off.
She double checks to make sure they don't have any other customers, then looks back at Anna again.
"Is that really why you're here?"

Good spot to fade off on soon yeah?
Yep!

An antique shop isn't something she's ever been in before, but even just the idea of seeing things that weren't normally around? Especially with her own world being so ... future-tech. Besides. It would be nice to get out of the Florida heat for a while. ]
Oh- Hi. Um, you work here? [ Duh, Megan. ] Never been in a store like this before.
[ Rrrright. Don't mind the green skin, Elsa. ]
no subject
Yes.
[She comes forward and gestures around the store as she names things off.]
We've recently gotten some lovely pieces in. We have some lovely jewelry and old books, and some furniture...
[She stops gesturing and looks back at Megan.] Do you have any idea what you want to look at, or do you just want to look around?

quiet. It's not simple, by any means, but without the threat of ghouls, everyone just walks around happily; and meanwhile Kaneki just feels more and more out of place because of it. It makes him realize that he might be the only thing in this world like that.
His focus on the ocean breaks when he realizes there is... ice? At the beach? Curiously, he follows it and peeks over the rocks and spots the girl. Ah- Elsa, right?
Should he call her? She seems like she is having fun.
... ]
Er. Hello. [ Kaneki rises his hand to wave at her ]
no subject
Kaneki, wasn't it? The boy who wanted coffee shops.]
Please, stay back.
[She doesn't mean to be rude, but this is dangerous.]
no subject
Aha- sorry. I didn't mean to scare you.

He catches sight of the spirals of ice out of the corner of his eye and, given his own powers, gets curious. He picks his way though the rocks, whistling once he gets to the top and can see the work. "Damn. That's impressive."
no subject
She widens her eyes when she realizes she almost shot ice at the man. Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she looks around for her gloves.
"Please, just stay where you are."
She's a little shaken - she hadn't meant to be discovered. And it's too dangerous to be around her when startled.
no subject
"Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere," he promises, spreading his hands to show that he's unarmed. Then looks around and turns the crouch into a sit once he finds a good rock that maintains his distance.

Today those thoughts were gone from her mind as she made her way to the beach, pausing as she saw something rising up into the sky. It shimmered in the air, like pure ice. Brown eyes widen in awe as she made her way around the rocks, curious to try to see what it was exactly.
My internet failed last night right before I got to you, sorry
She smiled, and gave another flick of her wrist. Snowflakes burst in the air around her and floated down around her, glittering in the sun.
it's alright!
"That is truly beautiful! Is that a power you were given here?" she asked as she approached carefully, not wanting to startle the other girl.

He ended up on the beach, his feet carrying him wherever they felt the need to go and he was pleasantly surprised to find himself on the edge of stumbling into someone's exploration of their... ability? Fillmore didn't even know what to call it but he watched from a distance, his hands safely in his pockets.
But that didn't mean he keep could his nose out of it forever.
"You're quite good at that." He felt the need to point it out, as if the girl wanted advice on the matter. She probably didn't, but Fillmore could only guess on the matter. And besides, it was a way to start conversation, something he hadn't done all day.

This man isn't a threat, or at least she has no reason to believe he is yet. She doesn't want to attack him, but her powers react defensively.
"I'm really not." She shakes her head. "Please stay back."
She bends down to pick up her gloves, laying in the sand.
