May Catch-all!
WHO: Cisco Ramon and anyone else
WHERE: Heropa and De Chima
WHEN: All throughout May
WHAT: Catch-all! Prompts are open to all that would be in those locations, but hit me up at
rathaway if you want something specific tho
WARNINGS: Flash spoilers through the whole second season, but not much else.
HEROPA #13 (residents + approved houseguests/housepests only)
[ Things have been stupid and complicated for Team Flash lately, but Cisco knows one surefire way to bring the mood up. He comes home from work one day with his arms laden with bags from a nearby electronics store. He spends a whole afternoon rigging up a new sound system and a couple of brand new games consoles, even complete with a couple of VR headsets. A new shelf fills up quickly with games and controllers, as well as some new movies.
He stands back once everything is finished being installed and surveys his work proudly. ]
Let the games begin!
HEROPA - SUMMER WEATHER
[ Sometimes it seems to Cisco like the biggest upside of being stuck in this world is that he now gets to live in Florida instead of Missouri. Which means it's been summer weather since March, but it's been especially gorgeous going into May. So gorgeous, in fact, that Cisco's breaking all the rules of nerddom and spending a whole lot of time outside.
All month long he can be found chilling outside local ice cream places, lazing around on the neatly manicured lawns of Heropa's several public parks (where he's usually still glued to his comm), and even doing the occasional lap in a community pool, now that it's finally opened. He's always ready with a friendly grin if approached, so come bug him.]
DE CHIMA - COFFEE SHOP
[ De Chima, on the other hand, isn't nearly as sunny as Heropa, so Cisco's breaks from work are spent in a coffee shop just down the block from StarkTech. He's there for lunch just about every day, tucked away in a corner with a laptop and the largest coffee they'll sell him, picking his way through code and digital blueprints for whatever project he's working on next. Occasionally, he gives up the laptop to sketch designs for things like remote drones, super suits, and even a modified car engine on paper. Even though he's no great artist, they're still detailed enough for anyone who peers over his shoulder to get the gist of. He's really absorbed in his work, though, so better speak up before peeking, or you might startle him. It'd be a shame if he spilled his coffee all over his hard work! ]
DE CHIMA - STARKTECH (employees only)
[ Cisco's been taking more and more of his work home with him lately, since his garage back in Heropa is close to a fully-functioning lab, so he's cut his actual on-site hours back a good deal, happier in his own space than his shared lab, where he's been repeatedly asked to stop singing Top 40 radio hits while he woroks. But he still has to go in every now and then, to make use of testing facilities, file his reports and funding paperwork, and occasionally take advantage of the higher computing power in the programming labs to run test scenarios and work out programming bugs in the software for his drones.
He's worked there long enough that he knows just about everyone in his departments well enough to casually chat with them in between work, even if his greatest hits haven't made him the most popular guy in the office. But hey, maybe some people are into it! ]

Heropa #13, for Barry and Cisco | idk 5/7
It was even rarer to be offered dinner.
By people who didn't cook. That was foolish, at best, but he acquiesced, and shimmered into view at the designated time, dressed more appropriately for the summer than usual -- only black slacks, a thin shirt, tie, and a vest. Very casual. He didn't even have his hat on, but the sunglasses and cane were still permanent features.
He held the cane behind his back, at an angle, when he materialized, before he stepped forward, and leaned on it, in their foyer, looking very much like he'd been there more than one time. Spoilers: he had. ]
I hope you don't mind I let myself in. [ He said, a touch of a laugh in his voice. Like anyone was going to stop him. ]
no subject
Would have liked a heads up, but I'm used to it. Almost. Do it in the middle of the night some time next week and we could just agree on you having blanket letting yourself in permission. [ Maybe if he talks enough this won't be the worst conversation he's had lately. ] You hungry?
no subject
[ He said. Mildly.
It was a joke, maybe, with a kernel of truth to it, and he looked at Barry, curious more than anything. Nobody actually invited Shade most of the time. He was often just there, because he could. He simply just showed up, even if nobody wanted him around, and being invited was eerie.
Or maybe it was that they just expected him to show up. Semantics. ]
I don't know if hungry is the word, by the way. I don't have to eat, but I suppose I could be called peckish, if you have something. I'd almost feel honored, having all these meals with the Flash.

Heropa #13
But when he hears Cisco say 'let the games begin' from the other room just as he finishes making his dinner, Eddie makes a decision. Scooping out two bowls of the stew he's been simmering in the crock pot all day, he sticks a fresh-out-of-the-oven canned biscuit at the edge of both bowls and heads into the living room. Holding one out to Cisco, he looks at the set up.]
Wow. What is all of this?
no subject
New entertainment system. [ He dunks the biscuit into the stew and chews it, continuing on to talk with his mouth full. Gross, Cisco. ] I reworked the speakers so we've got better surround sound, and got a whole bunch of video games.
no subject
You bought this for us?
[His brow raises, and he wanders over, leaning and looking at all the stuff Cisco set up. He might not be an expert with video games and electronics, but he does know a good entertainment system when he sees it.]
That's amazing. What games? Any shooting games?

heropa summer weather
He peers over the top of his sunglasses at Cisco doing a lap and the next time he comes close decides to strike up a conversation.]
Getting into shape?
no subject
He stops and treads water in place when Hal gets his attention. No kidding Hal makes people feel self-conscious, but Cisco's at least used to Barry's abs enough to not feel too bad about himself. ]
Uh, yeah. Something like that.

[Hal is an overpowered bastard who doesn't patrol because him against the average mugger is complete overkill.]

heropa summer!
[ Sup Cisco, Mouse is waving at him from a nearby alleyway. He has a towering, multicoloured ice cream cone in one hand, and the cheesy flip-flops clutched in the other. He's waving with the hand holding the flip-flops, naturally, because who in their right mind would risk overbalancing an ice cream cone? ]
The cheese-shoes worked!

With her cup in hand, she starts to look for a table to sit at, but passes a man who appears to be sketching designs for something; she can't quite tell what, since she's not right up in his personal bubble of space. Hopefully that means she's far enough away to not startle him too much.]
Hi. [She says in a friendly tone, though there's already hints of curiosity in it. There's a beat of silence.] Sorry, I noticed whatever you're working on looks rather interesting.
[She offers a small smile; she's not a tech person at ALL, but she's met a few people here who are tech people and are pretty cool.]
no subject
Oh, uh. Hey. It's just some designs for work.
Heropa 13's garage, +1 new housepest
And sleeping last night had been an adventure. He's very used to erratic hours and not sleeping at all, but usually it's because he wants to stay up, not because he could hear every time the refrigerator switched on and off like it was in the room with him. And he hasn't seen the other resident of the house yet, but that room is drawing a lot of power.
So it's a fairly standard grumpy, surly Harrison Wells suddenly appearing in Cisco's space, picking things up and examining them and setting them down. Good morning, Cisco. Is there coffee here.]
no subject
...Just so you know, this lab runs strictly on a you break it, you buy it basis.
no subject
Sure. Do you have any other coffee?
[There'd only been whole beans in the kitchen at #10 and there's no way he's going to operate something as loud as a coffee grinder, not until he gets used to this hearing thing and doesn't need to scowl at the refrigerator for humming too loudly.]

M & Team Flash, Heropa 13- Meet the Fam
no subject
Rather than Door inside their house (it seemed rude), M instead created a Door on the sidewalk outside, walked up to the front doo the old fashioned way. Juggling a large bag of chips out of the way, he reached over and rings the doorbell.]
no subject
Whatever she was doing before, it's stopped immediately when the doorbell rings. Should she be cautious, be nervous? If it was Hunter, he wouldn't ring the doorbell. Possibly the same for Dr. Wells. Err, Eobard Thawne. (Did Eobard know where they lived?) The door opens wide, with her standing at the edge, a small, optimistic smile showing. ] Hi. Are you a friend of Cisco's?

But he's here, partly because Cisco invited him and it's probably a good idea to say hello to everyone from home, and partly because Jesse convinced him. He's almost certainly in the garage lab, but maybe someone's dragged him inside the house, to mingle like a person.]
no subject
And of course, the streak of bad luck continues when he ducks into Cisco's workshop in the garage and sees Harrison Wells standing there. It's still a little jarring, after so many months of thinking of him as Eobard Thawne, whenever he actually sees that face. But the body language is different, the way he talks, his temperament, so after a bit of observation it had become easier to see the difference right away.
Exhaling out some of his nervousness, he squares his shoulders and walks over with a contained little smile, offers his hand.]
Hi. Harrison Wells, right? I'm Eddie. Eddie Thawne.

But she’s convinced her dad to go, and he’d know if she was planning on cutting out. And they’re a team. So she goes, sticking awkwardly near him, trying to find somewhere that’s safe for her to stand, somewhere she won’t knock things off when her wings go haywire, curling in on herself a little, frowning and shifting awkwardly with a wince off and on.
She wants to drag him inside, to mingle and be with people, but how can she when she takes up so much space and being around her is a hazard? Even if she does want to see everyone from home they don't deserve being bowled over or ending up with an accidental faceful of feathers.
At least she has projects to work on. She’s trying to make something for her dad, to help with his increased hearing. The… thing for his room is almost done. Version 1.0, anyway. Something wearable is next, once the room device gets hammered out a little.]

for eddie.
Caitlin's taste for heels has already gotten her in trouble in the past. Most recently when Killer Frost formed ice under her feet while she was trying to run away. She'd skidded and slid, slamming into an engine car. That had been taken care of when the porter brought her here, but she can still remember what the bruises felt like as they started to form along her spine and shoulders.
This isn't nearly as dramatic.
Dinner is well underway, and while beer had been on the invitation and in most everyone's hands, she's stuck to water and soda. Until now. Most people probably wouldn't think it, but she has a real taste for beer. It was something Ronnie introduced her to, and he liked everything from chic microbrews to nearly generic grocery store brand. She's got a bottle in hand, crossing through the kitchen on her way back to the living room when, mid-stride, the heel of her shoe cracks and folds beneath her foot. She's left off-balance, teetering, her arms pinwheeling as the bottle slips out of her hand.
She's going to fall, it's happening, and all she can do is hope she's not going to hit the floor too hard. ]
no subject
This time, Caitlin is the victim. It's the movement that catches his eye, as she goes over, her hands moving jerkily, abruptly, as she tries to catch her balance, and Eddie reacts instinctively. There's no hope of catching both her and the beer, but it's obvious which one is more important.
Two quick steps and he lunges for her, his arms outstretched as she loses her balance and falls over, gets an arm around her waist and brings the other one up to cup her shoulders, lets her weight fall against his torso. Putting one foot back behind the other, he absorbs the impact of her body against his, and catches her weight against him.
His mouth curves into a sheepish little smile.]
I am so sorry, Caitlin.
