Patrol; Various cities

Pidge's number of patrols have increased since Darren left, as it's a great way to keep her mind busy. She's hitting a new city almost every night and only occasionally taking time off. Tonight she's walking through the city's streets in her paladin armor. Rover and Green were staying close for once and she was speaking with them as they walked.

"Either of you seen anything? It seems like not much is going on." Hopefully it would stay that way.

Heropa; Moving between Heropa 005 and the Beach House of Lions

It had been a few days since she'd learned Finn and Johnathan were moving out and she'd finally made the decision to officially move into the house the previous Keith and Lance had left for her. It already had a fully functioning lab for her after all, and less people to potentially annoy when something went BOOM, so it was a win-win for everyone.

Right now she could be found packing boxes of equipment and putting the boxes into the car that was sitting outside. And if the paint job looked a bit like tree bark, surely that was your mind playing tricks?

Aegis Base

There's a new sign on Pidge's lab doorway which simply reads: "ANGSTY ISOLATION TIME OVER; Come in if you need anthing".

Music can be heard playing inside and Pidge could be seen darting between tables and machines as she bopped along to the tune.

Hopefully it would be a quiet night.

Aegis Base

It had taken a few weeks and an unfortunate number of scares for the janitor, but Pidge's lab was finally set up to her liking and fully functional. The door is wide open for anyone to come in and the welcome sign is now on the door frame.

If one peeked their head inside they'd see Pidge sitting with her feet kicked up on a table playing a game on her portable gaming system.

[So, sometime during the last week, you might have seen a transmission go up on the Network. It opens with Darin's face, close up to the camera. He appears oddly subdued.]

So, here's the thing. The last...let's saaaaay month and a half? Yeah, month and a half sounds about right...

So, the last month and a half? Not been great for people. I've seen it. I'm sure you all have seen it. Even a guy like me is starting to feel it in the air, you know? We're all just tired of weird and terrible things happening.

So, I have a proposal for you.

This weekend. The beaches of Heropa. It's time for a mini vacation. I'm talking fun in the sun, swimming, relaxation on the beach, and all of the delicious food you can eat, courtesy of...

[At this point, Darin dons a pair of radical wrap-around shades and backs away from the camera to show a massive custom built grill.]

[He fingerguns at the camera.]

...Yours truly.

That's right, all the food you can eat, on the house, paid for by me, Darin Altway. We've got hot dogs, we've got burgers, we've got steaks, we've got veggies, we've got fruits. I'll be manning the grill personally! All imPorts and civilians are welcome! Bring your hottest swimsuits, some frisbees and volleyballs, anything you want, and lets all just take a day and freakin' relax!

And if you don't think you need a day at the beach, I'm calling you out. You do. I better see you there!!

[And sure enough, this weekend, the beach is open and ready for all kinds of imPort shenanigans!]
