WHO: Sabriel and
people she's contactedWHERE: Sabriel's home in Nonah, and elsewhere.
WHEN: After the pull point plot ends
WHAT: Meet, greet, and plot.
WARNINGS: Probably none?
[Step one: Get everyone together][Sabriel's home isn't in imPort housing-rather, it's in a condominium in Nonah. She greets each guest cordially, offering them a seat at her table- or on her couch, and offering them a drink or a snack.
In a lot of ways, it seems like a normal home- normal appliances, normal television, normal furniture- if you ignore the marks that slide over the walls out of the corner of your eye, or the pets peeking out from the bedroom door.
Sabriel smiles, and makes small talk until everyone arrives- at which point she clears her throat and grabs a notepad and nods.]I know I've spoken with all of you about this before- but since we're all gathered here, I might as well explain it one more time.
We're here because the disappearance of Lacey Chases- the former secretary of state- doesn't seem to be mentioned
anywhere. And given the mess with the invasion and Sublime's trial... I can't help but suspect there's something more to this.
So what I propose is we find out what happened- if Chases is alive or dead, where she is in either case, and
why. And I want to learn more about President Freemason- who she is, what her history is, if she has any ties to the previous group of imPorts or the police state they helped reform.
First, let me set some ground rules- we're going to try to stay within the law as much as possible- depending on where the information we seek leads, it might not be possible, but I'd rather avoid attracting attention- don't tell people about this unless you can trust them to be quiet about this.
Now, does anyone have any further suggestions?
[Step two: start digging.][There are people to call, trains to take to DC to interview people and investigate Chases' home, computers to hack into... and of course, piles of books and files to pore through.
Eventually, they will find some answers, but also more questions.
EDIT: oocly, I will toss up a post where Sabriel shares at least some of her findings wih the network- probably after the swear-in.]
