WHAT: ImPorts attend The Perestroika Seminar to receive mandatory training and brainwashing. Need a quick recap? ImPorts will be able to distract themselves with their mental link on the network during brainwashing videos, and imPorts who possess a strong will will be able to resist being successfully brainwashed. We leave the extent of the ramifications of brainwashing up to the individual players, and what they are comfortable with. Please direct all questions HERE.

[ Rick looks up and glares at Tex. It isn't because she's not right, but it's because he doesn't want to hear what she has to say. In a way he needs this, he needs someone like her to ground him. And then his eyes drift to Carl, brows knitting together. It doesn't make sense. Some gun crazy locals and a wild stray shot? There has to be more.

But he doesn't get the chance to inquire because he's being dragged to his feet by a few Russian soldiers -- talking to each other in their own language. Rick doesn't know what they're saying, but he isn't putting up a fight because this whole thing has just broken him down so much. He wasn't there for Carl. He failed him. He's failing LACKEY. And he's been so powerless to stop their worlds from spinning into chaos.

His eyes are on Carl and he's devastated to see him like this. And then they drift toward Tex -- a silent plea to take care of his son. The Soviet soldiers aren't giving him any more time as they start to drag him away toward the room where the brainwashing happens. ]

[As far as the Count is concerned, a significant portion of Russia's population is now living under a death sentence earned through this humiliation. The Sith take revenge very seriously, and Dooku is no exception.]

[Dooku can sense the scrutiny, and he loathes it. He's vulnerable right now, and having a sociopath peering at him like an insect under a scanner does not exactly help matters. But he maintains his composure, as always, and affects an air of mild interest in Crane's discourse.]

Weeks or months. [Please no.] A lengthy trial, for our community. But as you say, such barbarism cannot persist forever.

In the meantime, I suppose these circumstances offer a great deal of information for your... interests. Don't they, Doctor?

Why wouldn't they? They were clearly prepared to expend enormous effort in seizing these cities. And now we are in their power. There is little mess we can create as long as they hold both nullifiers and our nanites.

'As human beings,' the not-Lord said- Dooku wonders inwardly if that is the correct mode of speech that the Russian authorities would approve of. After all, imPorts are weapons first and foremost.
