Mask or Menace is a panfandom urban 'superhero' genre DWRP game, where heroes, villains, and everyone in between seek to survive and thrive in a world loosely parallel to our own.

WHAT: Yuu attempting to push off his yearly 'Christmas is the WORST' due to events back home, by collecting donated gifts to take to kids in need.
WARNINGS: None off of the top of my head?

Gathering Presents:

[He is....probably decidedly too young and fit to be considered really passable for the jolly man that goes down chimneys with his reindeer and sleigh and all. But that doesn't stop Yuu from dressing up anyway. Complete with large sack that he fills with presents under a tree at the mall, donations others had made (and some from Yuu himself), in giving to the less fortunate kids so they don't miss out.

If some children see him, he'll simply try give a knowing smile and press a finger to his lips.

Laugh, tell him he is the worst Santa imposter ever, or play along with it?]

Spirit of Giving:

[And once he has collected the donations, he's off taking and delivering them to the orphanages. His favourite part. The looks on the children's faces when he shows up with the presents, when they open them. It's enough to distract him from his darker memories of this date, or upcoming, anyway.]

Is that all of them? I didn't miss anyone, did I?

[It might be hard to tell, given the wrapping everywhere and how the kids are already running around playing with their new toys and such.]

WHAT: Small gathering to celebrate his birthday. Who let him turn eighteen and become an adult. No really.

Small party earlier in the day and then if people still hang around, heading outside to stargaze if anyone did want to join him and Mika for it.

You might be encouraged to remain as quiet as possible in a library under normal circumstances, but just today, you can feel free to be as loud as you want!

WHAT: The four Porter Cities have been targeted with simultaneous high-security prison breaks (either within city bounds, or just outside of them), letting loose 417 violent criminals overall. You may find criminal profiles or make your own HERE, but please note making a profile isn't necessary; you can make someone up and use it as you see fit!
WARNINGS: Violence, and possible torture and death. If dealing with delicate subject matter, please make sure to warn in the subject line accordingly.

[OOC: This is the event log for the Blackout event! Feel free to use this log for your threads or make your own. Key timing items:

1) Complete blackout starting midnight on the 14th; no working Network, Electricity, or Cell Towers for the first 48 hours.
2) The porters between cities will be back up and functioning within 24 hours.
3) Midnight of the 17th the Network and Cell Towers will come back up.
4) A second log will be posted specifically for the prison break and the extremely dangerous 417!
