WHAT: April café log! Daily café life, now with poetry reading on Wednesdays and live jazz (by local clubs and bands) on Friday nights!

It's springtime! While life for the imPorts is never uneventful, Cass does her best to keep the café going without a hitch. We're open for business as usual, and this month we have a few twists!

• tshirts! -- Your character can now also purchase their very own Lucky Cat Tshirt; a percentage of tshirt proceeds go to supporting local animal shelters. Additional colors are available.

• Poetry Appreciation Month -- Wednesdays evenings are reserved for poetry appreciation. Do you have a favorite poem you really want to read out loud? Or perhaps one you wrote yourself? You can also simply have a seat to be an audience for a nice, quiet event.

• Jazz Appreciation Month -- But Fridays are for music! Cass is inviting local groups (both native and imPort) to perform for a coupld hours. Maybe you're one of them! Maybe you're just here to listen. If you have gig information or merchandise you want to keep on display, go for it.

• Spring Items!! -- There are spring motifs all over the food this season. A lot of cherry blossoms and strawberries and matcha (available through May!) I really like googling food pictures for this cafe, so click through these links for the sorts of things you can find ~~they're so fucking cute and i'm gonna die~~: ＊＊＊＊＊＊＊

[Hours at the café go the same as usual. The same coffee, the same snacks (although she does add things here and there to match the season and to have something new to serve), music playing softly in the background, and Cass moving around busily with her other employees. They're slightly short-handed with Kaneki and Tadashi not around, but that doesn't mean business has to slow down. She appreciates the business, to be honest.

And Cass smiles brightly as ever as she turns around at the bells on the door announcing the arrival of a new customer, calling a cheerful,] Welcome! I'll be with you in just a second.

[Regular customers get friendly chatter as always. There's still leftover pumpkin spice if you want some, yes. Are they preparing for Christmas? Of course! But not immediately. For those of you who want a place to study, the upstairs loft provides a nice, quiet place with plenty of tables and armchairs to sit at.]

[ It's Halloween! The café is open this evening and the delicious smells of pumpkin spice everything waft out through the front door whenever someone walks in. Today, however, if you wander in you'll be greeted by at least one of the Hamadas. Probably the smallest one, who's wearing the world's laziest Halloween costume - a pair of black cat ears nearly invisible against his messy mop of hair. (He had a tail at some point, but it's somewhere behind the counter now.)

Hiro's got the basket with normal candy, though Cass has made adorable cookies that will surely find their way into the hands of any visitor before they can escape. ]

Y'know, it's kind of nice to be working on Halloween.

[ Mostly because Hiro has spent all afternoon grazing liberally from the candy bowl. He has the remains of a sucker in his mouth now, the stick bobbing up and down as he talks.
