It must have been something you said
WHO: Futaba, anyone from the Heaven Scent Infiltration that would be Concerned, Yusuke, Adachi, Akira, Akechi, Makoto, Skater Fam--and whatever part of the circus they drag in. Basically open?
WHERE: A Hospital in Scenic De Chima
WHEN: Late August 15th through Release on August 18th
WHAT: Futaba made a near fatal error, there are consequences
WARNINGS: Bodily injury, blood, things with hospitals, possible cursing considering. Will add more as they come up.
1. Arrival | No Futaba communication; play out as thou wilt
[Anyone that arrives soon after communication from Yusuke or Adachi will find chaos with nurses and doctors moving in and out of unit that must be Futaba's. There are worried, pinched faces and they are being kept from the room itself while they work. If you're looking for answers you'll have to find Yusuke or Adachi--the medics aren't going to spare time in the moment.]
2. Early Morning Wake Up Call
[Following what must have been a very stressful night, the wee hours of the morning of the 16th see Futaba finally coming around. She's still out of it, brain fuzzy and tired, her body covered in bandages and bruises. Someone might want to keep her from trying to haphazardly sit up at first. For anyone still hanging around, visitor hours be damned.]
What--uhm why does everyone look like someone died?
3. Visiting Hours (And after hours for all those crime boys I guess)
[You might find yourself coming in and out throughout the day after Futaba comes to on the 16th. She's laid up to rest, not due to be evaluated for release until the 18th at the earliest. If you weren't on the list of those immediately contacted this might be the first time you're able to make it up to De Chima to see her--or you might be coming back to see her without crowds of people.
It's a 50/50 shot on whether or not Futaba is awake when guests arrive, but she'll come to readily enough--even if she feels like sleeping for a month after the ordeal she's been through.]
Wild Card
[Something not suiting you? Want to throw something at me but want to run it by first? Then this is for you! Feel free to just toss something up...or to hit me up at
likeredgold to hash it out!

[ Adachi was leaning up against the wall, trying not to tap his foot against the floor as he stared at his communicator. He was pretty sure he had sent out messages to everyone he could think to message about this, but he wasn't so sure about coherency, or if he was even going to get responses. Not because it was coming from him, though; he could just picture Akira dropping what he was doing and running full tilt the whole way to the hospital. ]
[ So he stood there. And he waited. Struggling not to fidget until either someone other than Yusuke showed up, or a doctor came out to let them know what was up. ]
[ Visiting Hours | Futaba ]
[ It was a few days after Futaba woke up before Adachi managed to come back, Riza-chan happily trotting along on her leash. He had managed to convince a nurse that she was a therapy dog in training -- which... was actually the truth -- something he was grateful for, because he was sure she would help Futaba feel better too. ]
[ He poked his head in her room, trying to peer over at her bed. At his feet, Riza-chan was doing the same, her tail wagging back and forth happily. ]
Futaba-chan~?
Arrival
Once Akira had gotten the message, he did take off. He had to let his boss know first, but he managed to get out of work for it, and he definitely ran in through the hospital doors. Good god though, it was a long run from Nonah, and Akira was huffing from the exertion.
He hadn't even taken off his work clothes, though he'd left his apron at the shop, and he approached Adachi just as soon as he saw him.]
Ok. [HUFF.]
Ok. Tell me what happened. She's... alright, right?
[I mean as alright as someone could be while they were in the hospital. Like, not in danger of dying, was really the question here.]

She perks up at the arrival of a vistor--though the presence of a "dog" has her a bit hesitant.]
How did you get that in?
no subject
Told them the truth; she was a therapy dog in training.
[ He dipped down a bit, picking her up and setting her on his lap. Riza-chan planted her paws on the rail for the bed, like now Futaba was obligated to pet her. ]

[Yuri arrives at the hospital in near records time with a frantic energy about him. His hair is windswept, and he looks like he may have just rolled directly out of bed to race here judging by the rumpled state of his clothes. And the fact that they're definitely pajamas.]
Where is she?!
Visiting Hours - Futaba
[Later in the morning the door to Futaba's room bursts open—halfway, before Yuri remembers that maybe she doesn't want someone rushing in on her out of nowhere. There's a much more hesitant knock then, and a very concerned voice calling into the room.]
Hey... Are you still awake?
no subject
Yuri's voice is a relief, but he still frowns through the concussed pounding in his head, even as he reaches for him. He really should be resting, himself, but instead he's pacing, the reminder that his feet are touching the ground keeping him from losing it entirely. ]
She's in there. They won't let me in or tell me anything.

Visiting(After) Hours
He'd come in earlier, having been contacted quickly, but he wasn't really able to see her or do much in the ensuing chaos, so now would have to do for actually getting to see her. Hopefully he wasn't disturbing her rest too much when he showed up in his Joker getup, with a lunchbox in tow.]
Hey there, Futaba. [He kept his voice low, not actually intending to wake her up if she wasn't going to stir on her own, just... coming in and dropping that lunchbox off at her bedside table.]
I made it just like Sojiro taught me to. [No extra 'love' this time. Probably for the best, since he did tend to make it ridiculously spicy when left to his own devices. Might not be the best when Futaba is recovering. Besides, Sojiro made it this way specifically for Futaba.]
I can probably pop into the cafeteria and borrow a microwave if I need to.

Still, hospitals are different than the comfort of her room, and where she would normally be a heavy sleeper her sleep is light and easily disturbed--especially since some of her meds had begun to wear off again. She stirs, shifting on the bed, hissing when that causes a slight discomfort and sting of pain. She blinks wearily into the darkness, reaching for her glasses to see just who had come in at this hour--a doctor, nurse...nope, Joker.]
Did you really break in to a hospital to come back and see me?
no subject
Yeah.
[He laughed a little, moving to take a seat in a chair nearby.]
You know, it's actually pretty difficult to break into a hospital? I needed to brush up on it anyway.
... brought you some curry.

[ Yusuke, as he often is, is in a state. That state tonight is extreme anxiety, as he paces back and forth through the waiting room until someone, anyone, comes back with some answers. He had barely allowed anyone to tend to his own injuries, a broken nose and fracture in his shoulder that had his arm uselessly tied up in a sling.
His right hand still works enough to text anyone who might know Futaba enough to care, which is pretty much everyone she knows because how could you not?? When familiar faces start arriving, he smiles weakly at them, but is too exhausted to begin the explanations unless asked. ]
wake up gremlin!!!;
[ Once she's stable, and the doctors finally let him in to sit by Futaba's side, that is where he stays. He leaves for nothing but to refill his coffee, to the displeasure of some of the hospital staff who are understandably hesitant to physically force a tired and frustrated imPort to leave when asking nicely clearly isn't cutting it.
Yusuke is about to pass out in his chair, slumped over on his good arm, when he sees movement out of the corner of his eye. ]
Futaba? Can you hear me?
or whatever;
[ He'll be here the whole time, anyway. Hit me with any prompt, any thang. ]
Arrival
Yusuke... what happened to you two?

[ He's a little slow. Definitely has a concussion. Definitely should sit down. ]

Wake up, get up, get out there
[It's a tired reply, but she manages to angle toward him and offer a slight smile. She reaches out and fumbles for her glasses, thankful to find that whoever her nurses and doctors had been, they had the mind to put them within reach. It's better to be able to see.]
Are you--[To ask him if he was okay would have been stupid, it's obvious that he hadn't exactly put his injuries up as any kind of priority--surely the doctors had tried to treat him at some point though.] How long have you been here?

He might look angry, but he's only a little bit. Mostly concerned and upset, which all makes him appear to be pissed off instead.]

Akira approached him as soon as he could, looking him over. They'd never gotten injuries like this before. It was so strange. Shadows had simply not... hurt them like this.]
Yusuke... I'm glad to see you're still standing.
[He'd heard very little about what happened from Adachi, but he just didn't know how much use it could be to know more other than to make him fret. There was no point in placing blame or anything anyway.]

Visiting Hours, backdated to just before her release
Hello. When I heard you had been injured in our mission, I knew I had to pay my respects.
[He looks at her bandaged body, taking in the injuries.]
You have shown great courage, Futaba.
no subject
I...thank you. Careless courage tends to be a specialty among me and my friends...
[Oh good, she could still be a bit snarky. Good to know that could exist while in pain and through panic.]
You didn't really need to come all this way to see me...

Backdated as fuck because I'm late. And didn't even bring Starbucks.
[ Makoto arrived as fast as she could, running through the hospital until she reached what had to be Futaba's door. ]
What happened? I received a text saying Futaba had been hurt.
[ Visiting Hours | Futaba ]
[ Makoto was asleep in the chair next to Futaba's bed. She had arrived after visiting hours, but instead of waiting, she'd decided to just make her way to Futaba's room. The younger girl had been asleep when she arrived, and Makoto hadn't wanted to wake her, so she'd settled into a chair and apparently fallen asleep. Oops?
So here she'll remain until someone wakes her up. ]
Visiting hours; obviously
Makoto?
[She whispers, trying to wake the other girl.]
