WHAT: Futaba made a near fatal error, there are consequences
WARNINGS: Bodily injury, blood, things with hospitals, possible cursing considering. Will add more as they come up.



1. Arrival | No Futaba communication; play out as thou wilt

[Anyone that arrives soon after communication from Yusuke or Adachi will find chaos with nurses and doctors moving in and out of unit that must be Futaba's. There are worried, pinched faces and they are being kept from the room itself while they work. If you're looking for answers you'll have to find Yusuke or Adachi--the medics aren't going to spare time in the moment.]

2. Early Morning Wake Up Call

[Following what must have been a very stressful night, the wee hours of the morning of the 16th see Futaba finally coming around. She's still out of it, brain fuzzy and tired, her body covered in bandages and bruises. Someone might want to keep her from trying to haphazardly sit up at first. For anyone still hanging around, visitor hours be damned.]

What--uhm why does everyone look like someone died?

3. Visiting Hours (And after hours for all those crime boys I guess)

[You might find yourself coming in and out throughout the day after Futaba comes to on the 16th. She's laid up to rest, not due to be evaluated for release until the 18th at the earliest. If you weren't on the list of those immediately contacted this might be the first time you're able to make it up to De Chima to see her--or you might be coming back to see her without crowds of people.

It's a 50/50 shot on whether or not Futaba is awake when guests arrive, but she'll come to readily enough--even if she feels like sleeping for a month after the ordeal she's been through.]

There was this huge fucking sinkhole in De Chima,and I fell in with some other guys. It dropped us into these huge mining shafts and caverns under the city, and there was a cave in on the way out. My knee got smashed in that.

It actually went a lot faster than you'd think. The nanite healing is amazing.

[Still, he makes a face in spite of the praise he's giving.]

The real rough part was Viktor keeping me grounded from practice for weeks after the doctors cleared me.

Good to know I won't be kept down long then--if the nanites helped with an injury like that.

He can be. [It was one of the rare times he'd really seen Viktor beside himself with worry, in fact.]

I've been on the ice since I was four or five, so I can't... There isn't anywhere else I belong. I think it's the same for him too.

I...don't think my experiences are all that comparable...but I understand feeling like you belong somewhere or to something. I wouldn't want to give that up for anything.

[Yuri frowns and straightens up again, a little uncertain. He's definitely out of his element here, but he's fond enough of Futaba to try to offer support.]

...You were thinking like his friend. Anyone who's halfway decent is going to look out for their friends, and fuck everything else.

[Her choices are going to sit heavily with her for awhile, but Yuri's insistence and near defense of her actions does bring a slight smile to her face.]

[Mostly by recognizing how he didn't think friends should act in some of the other relationships he was aware of. And maybe there was a little positive role modeling happening from his fellow skaters.]

Oh I can do more than that...I pretty much hacked the hell out of this thing.

[Not that hard really. It was about on the same level of developing and then covertly installing an app on Akechi's phone so...Child's play.]

I think I'll be fine on the entertainment end of it. And I'm pretty sure Yusuke is hell bent on making sure I don't have too much time alone as it is...

I might be around more if he is too. He's bad at taking care of himself even when everything's fine. No way is he going to do it now. [He glances back at her with a weary sort of smile.] At least you I can trust to listen to the doctors.

He was never shown how...that's supposed to be. I told him to rest--but he's stubborn. I'm sure with us being from Heropa the hospital staff will have solutions to put you up somewhere. Make sure he actually gets some sleep?

I'm kind of forced to listen to the doctors. He's not right now.

[Yuri heaves an exasperated sigh and leans forward to rest his arms on the bedside, setting his chin atop them.]

I might call Viktor to help me out with him. He can even bring the snacks you wanted.

Viktor isn't so bad either... He's been helping Yusuke with my training.

Viktor might be the best out of the lot of adults I've met here...though I guess that isn't saying much considering the adults we do know. He seems nice...
