It must have been something you said
WHO: Futaba, anyone from the Heaven Scent Infiltration that would be Concerned, Yusuke, Adachi, Akira, Akechi, Makoto, Skater Fam--and whatever part of the circus they drag in. Basically open?
WHERE: A Hospital in Scenic De Chima
WHEN: Late August 15th through Release on August 18th
WHAT: Futaba made a near fatal error, there are consequences
WARNINGS: Bodily injury, blood, things with hospitals, possible cursing considering. Will add more as they come up.
1. Arrival | No Futaba communication; play out as thou wilt
[Anyone that arrives soon after communication from Yusuke or Adachi will find chaos with nurses and doctors moving in and out of unit that must be Futaba's. There are worried, pinched faces and they are being kept from the room itself while they work. If you're looking for answers you'll have to find Yusuke or Adachi--the medics aren't going to spare time in the moment.]
2. Early Morning Wake Up Call
[Following what must have been a very stressful night, the wee hours of the morning of the 16th see Futaba finally coming around. She's still out of it, brain fuzzy and tired, her body covered in bandages and bruises. Someone might want to keep her from trying to haphazardly sit up at first. For anyone still hanging around, visitor hours be damned.]
What--uhm why does everyone look like someone died?
3. Visiting Hours (And after hours for all those crime boys I guess)
[You might find yourself coming in and out throughout the day after Futaba comes to on the 16th. She's laid up to rest, not due to be evaluated for release until the 18th at the earliest. If you weren't on the list of those immediately contacted this might be the first time you're able to make it up to De Chima to see her--or you might be coming back to see her without crowds of people.
It's a 50/50 shot on whether or not Futaba is awake when guests arrive, but she'll come to readily enough--even if she feels like sleeping for a month after the ordeal she's been through.]
Wild Card
[Something not suiting you? Want to throw something at me but want to run it by first? Then this is for you! Feel free to just toss something up...or to hit me up at
likeredgold to hash it out!

We have to operate differently here, but being on the same page about things like that is important. At least then we know there are people waiting on us, that we can call on if we need it right? That's what teamwork means.
[It might not be a play-by-play, but what kind of team are they if they can't keep everyone up to speed and aware of things like that? Even just a brief mention of it could have meant quicker communication after her injuries...It would have meant that people were aware of what they were doing, that it wouldn't have been a complete shock.]
no subject
Yeah, it'd be good to have... some warning ahead of time. That way we can be on call. Ready for anything. That way, even if I can't come along, I can be ready to spring in quickly if need be.
[He didn't want to feel useless again, but here he was. He shook his head a little, trying to shake the feeling off. It was fine, he was fine.]
Got to keep each other on speed dial or something.
no subject
Easier than speed dial for some things.
no subject
We could just keep our important communication there, really. It'd be good, just in case. And I definitely trust you to have fortified it enough that we won't be in any danger of getting hacked into.
[Anyone who could take over all of the media at once in order to broadcast their 'calling card' was more than a match for anyone in cyber-space, he felt. Even if people had crazy powers, Futaba only needed her knowledge.]
no subject
[It's work she knows--work she's used to. She has a feeling it's something she's going to fall into as a distraction in the coming weeks.]
So! Now that we have communication issues under wraps. You had curry, and I want some. [She needed to get away from the more serious topics for a moment. Needed to breathe.]

[Akira was good on the heavy subjects too for now. That was more than enough of that! He got up, grabbing the parcel he'd brought in.]
It should still be warm, but if it isn't, like I said, I'll go heat it up in the kitchen.
[He could break in there easily enough to warm up some food for his friend, but until the need arose, he was just going to open it up, pull out a plastic fork, hand that to her, and then offer her the box of curry on top of a bed of white rice.]
Let me know if there's some way I can improve it. I don't think I'm quite as good as Sojiro yet. [Not to worry though, he didn't make his special Fire Curry this time, though.]
no subject
I think you might need a bit more spice...but it's close. Almost as good as Sojiro's.
no subject
[Akira, no.]
I'll get it eventually, I'm sure. You can be my official taste-tester. [Futaba deserves better, but really... who else could taste his curry to be sure it tasted like Sojiro's? Everyone else could TRY, but in the end, Futaba would know it the best.]
no subject
[Seriously. Save that kind of shit for pranking Akechi.]
But I am willing to be the taste-tester. You won't find one better than me~. This place needs some decent curry anyway.
no subject
[Clearly, if that was how he made it when he made it 'with love'. He preferred it to BURN.]
Right? It's too bad I can't open a shop or anything. Maybe once I graduate. I have been thinking about what I'm going to do after school, anyway. I don't know, I could go to college, but would it really matter at this point?
no subject
[Spicy foods are the best, okay? Especially when used against detectives.]
We could bring back LeBlanc! I mean...I honestly don't know why you'd do more than the basic requirements for school here anyway--unless you wanted to do something pretty specialized...We don't even know how long we'll be here though...
no subject
I wonder how Sojiro would feel if we opened a LeBlanc? I feel like he'd be charmed for a bit...
And then he'd tell me I'm not good enough at making coffee or curry. [He chuckled some more, smiling at that. It did sound nice though. He'd love to have a place like LeBlanc after he left high school, and Futaba did have a point. They didn't know how long they'd be here, and when they went back, if they went back, they'd go back to being their previous ages and have to do it all again.]
I think I'd be okay if that was my job from now on. Like. Forever. Just owning a little cafe like LeBlanc. I see no downside to that plan, so long as I can secure a place and a business permit or whatever.
no subject
[She grins, entranced by the idea of having their own LeBlanc here. As much as she was adjusting to life in another universe, having small snippets of life back home would always be something she'd welcome.]
We could even have you live in the attic~. [It's a joke she can't resist, impish grin playing on her lips as she tries not to laugh.]
Honestly though...I like the idea. And I wouldn't even mind working there if you needed the help. It'd be better than the store they put me in when I got here...
no subject
Even though you didn't sleep there.
[He laughed a little, but didn't argue against living in the attic. He thinks he might want more privacy than that, but it had been... a good year. It was nice living in the attic, despite it literally just being an attic.]
Well, once I graduate from high school... we'll see. I think I'd really love that. Just having a small coffee shop.
no subject
[This conversation is doing wonders for her mood, her grin now settled on her lips more often than not.]
...It'd be nice. We should...definitely try. I'm sure others would be happy to help get it started.
