WHERE: A Hospital in Scenic De Chima
WHEN: Late August 15th through Release on August 18th
WHAT: Futaba made a near fatal error, there are consequences
WARNINGS: Bodily injury, blood, things with hospitals, possible cursing considering. Will add more as they come up.



1. Arrival | No Futaba communication; play out as thou wilt

[Anyone that arrives soon after communication from Yusuke or Adachi will find chaos with nurses and doctors moving in and out of unit that must be Futaba's. There are worried, pinched faces and they are being kept from the room itself while they work. If you're looking for answers you'll have to find Yusuke or Adachi--the medics aren't going to spare time in the moment.]

2. Early Morning Wake Up Call

[Following what must have been a very stressful night, the wee hours of the morning of the 16th see Futaba finally coming around. She's still out of it, brain fuzzy and tired, her body covered in bandages and bruises. Someone might want to keep her from trying to haphazardly sit up at first. For anyone still hanging around, visitor hours be damned.]

What--uhm why does everyone look like someone died?

3. Visiting Hours (And after hours for all those crime boys I guess)

[You might find yourself coming in and out throughout the day after Futaba comes to on the 16th. She's laid up to rest, not due to be evaluated for release until the 18th at the earliest. If you weren't on the list of those immediately contacted this might be the first time you're able to make it up to De Chima to see her--or you might be coming back to see her without crowds of people.

It's a 50/50 shot on whether or not Futaba is awake when guests arrive, but she'll come to readily enough--even if she feels like sleeping for a month after the ordeal she's been through.]

[ Okay, Yusuke will inhale this piece of pizza faster than he's ever eaten anything ever, which feels weird because he just took some very strong painkillers on an empty stomach, but it's worth it. How the Phantom Thieves get anything done with this starved twig as their heavy hitter is anyone's guess. ]

Yes. ...How do you not feel hungry all the time?

I usually am. [ As he bites into a cookie because ok now that he's started maybe he is hungry. ] I learned how to distract myself from it.

[This time, instead of yelling, he takes a slow, deep breath. It's not like yelling now is going to do anything for Yusuke. It wouldn't even make Yuri feel better.]

You shouldn't. You can eat when you need to now.

[ Intellectually, of course he knows that. He has a job, he can afford things other than art supplies, but it still feels like he should be saving it? For what, Yusuke doesn't know. It just feels weird. ]

I have to keep my strength up so my shoulder can heal. I know that.

And so you can actually have energy to support Futaba.

[Yuri might not be the best at interpersonal relationships, but even he can see the blatantly obvious motivations behind Yusuke's behavior right now.]

You're right. I need to be here for Futaba...and you.

[ Yeah, he's pretty transparent. On the plus side, Yusuke is more likely to take care of himself for someone else's sake - whether it be to support Futaba or to stop Yuri from worrying - than for his own. He needs to be told it isn't fine, rarely will he come to that conclusion on his own. ]

Don't worry about me! I'm fine. You and Futaba are the ones that need taking care of now.

[Speaking of her— Yuri glances towards the room she's being tended to in, frowning sharply for a few long moments.]

Any idea how much longer they're going to be with her?

[ Make that two frowns. In the ten, fifteen minutes he was gone, Yusuke still hadn't gotten any updates. ]

I have no idea. All I know is that she needs a blood transfusion.

[Wait—that is definitely not good news. Just how hurt was she?!]

[ Yusuke finishes his cookie, and sets the plate with the rest of them on the floor, so he can shift around and get comfortable. ]

[Yuri huffs and crosses his arms, slouching in his chair.]

I'll let a nurse know what mine is next time one comes out then. Maybe it'll match.

[Yuri frowns and reaches for Yusuke's hand, staying mindful of his injuries.]

[ And he squeezes tight. As long as he doesn't move his upper arm, it's fine. ]

She will pull through. She is stronger than she looks.
