[On Thursday of this week, the Amestrian residents of the estate left to take a few days to clean out what was left of their belongings in their old Heropa apartment. It was long overdue, honestly. Particularly the small mountains worth of books they'd kept juuuust a little too long past the due date. (The amount of the fines involved were downright embarrassing.) With as much work getting things returned and cleaned and emptied out as they had to do, it was only natural for them to be out of contact for a couple of days. Definitely nothing odd happened here.

If Ed and Winry look an inch or two taller, a little older, a lot less stressed, well...! Strange things are common among imPorts.]

[ She's almost cautious in how she enters the home. What a strange sense of deja vu- a six month long dream, forgotten for another six months. But everything's still exactly like it was yesterday (that didn't feel like yesterday at all). ]

[ Miles is here in the kitchen with a bowl of cereal. (When you suck at cooking and you know better than to touch your brother's leftovers ... sometimes you just eat cereal.) He blinks owlishly at Winry and waves. ]

[Ed looks more than less stressed, to be perfectly honest. He's practically relaxed even if he's still a little uncertain about returning after what, to him, feels like such a long time away. He even smiles unprompted on his way back into the house—a little more smug than he ever has any right to be, as usual. He makes a pointed, cheerful show of shrugging out of peeling off his gloves while he's drawling out his greeting, flexing his pair of very much flesh and blood hands when he's finished.]

[Now there's a voice he didn't realize he missed. Not until the memories of time spent here began to filter back in through the thick fog of the last six months.]

[ Kitchen, cereal, etc. By now he's chatted with Winry and is putting his lazy supper remains away.

[He holds his hand out for a shake, just in case Miles wants to be extra sure. The right arm does look slightly smaller than the left, a little scrawnier since the muscle hasn't had long to build up to match yet.]

[If nothing else could be said, it was that certain color patterns were distinct. Blue and gold, the claimed livery of the Vorpatril clan was more than flattering on any man, added with the particular robust charms of the Vorpatril men, and their ease in filling out a uniform.

Amestris seems to have had similar taste in design. It was striking, professional, did well with broad shoulders.]
