[ LET'S GET THIS PARTY OFFICIALLY STARTED! Opening events so we don't do too much comm flooding (although people are welcome to make their own posts for the event). You're welcome to toplevel with your character if you'd like to have them show up somewhere else for this plot.

[oh. That girl sitting on the bench over there looks oddly familiar.]

OH GOOD. I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE HERE. AND MAYBE IF SHE'S HERE MR. HAWKEYE MIGHT BE SOMEWHERE NEAR BY TOO]

[He runs over to her, narrowly avoiding a hover car as he crosses the street. When he's just a few feet away:]

[The blonde turns, tilting her head. Her eyes widen. He looks like he knows her, but she doesn't feel like he's familiar. Nothing about him, even, suggests that she ought to know him.

But that sure is her name.]

Hello, mister.

[She waves, smiling. Up close, it's obvious that she's much smaller than she was when they first met. When he addresses her by name, the confusion on her face spreads.]

How come you know my name?

OH NO CUTIE ALSO 1/?

[He's all ready for a 'oh mr. roy i'm so glad you're here! My father is right over there so let's go meet him together so we can all go home!'

[incendere]

[But then she calls him mister.]

[incendere]

[And asks why he knows her name.]

[Oh my god did I approach Riza's evil twin or something was she hurt DID SOMEONE HURT HER OH MY GOD WHO DID IT I'LL PUNCH THEM]

[He examines her briefly. SHe does seem a little shorter and leaner than when he first went to Mr. Hawkeye's house. But maybe the strange situation was just distorting his judgement.]

[Riza is watching him curiously. Despite the change in age, she continues to have sharp and inquisitive eyes--and she can tell he seems a bit...unsure.]

I'm okay. Are you okay, mister?

[Because you don't look okay, that's for sure--you're sweating, and looking around nervously and everything, and people who are "okay" don't do that]

[There's a hint of excitement, because she's lost and even if she's pretending she's not scared she's totally kind of scared.]

And Papa knows you too? [She fiddles with her hair and frowns, tilting her head.]
