[ LET'S GET THIS PARTY OFFICIALLY STARTED! Opening events so we don't do too much comm flooding (although people are welcome to make their own posts for the event). You're welcome to toplevel with your character if you'd like to have them show up somewhere else for this plot.

[Zoey pulls Winry along after Riku. She laughs and follows them both.]

You can sit down, if you want, [he announces as they enter, Riku padding into the air-conditioned kitchen without really worrying about his sneakers. He has to drag over a chair to reach the cupboard where they keep the glasses, but he manages, retrieving two cups for them and a bowl for Zoey.]

[Winry sits, looking around. It's not really all that different from where she lives.]

[She does, watching Winry and Riku curiously.]

You have a nice place.

Heh. It's pretty well the same as all the other places in Heropa, I think. We try to keep it pretty clean, though.

[He moves to the fridge to retrieve a filtered water jug, then fills both the glasses and the bowl. Putting down Zoey's for her, he returns to the cupboard to get his glass and Winry's glass, then sits next to her.]

[Zoey starts lapping up water immediately. Winry accepts her glass with a thank you.]

They are, aren't they? They need some...difference to them. I wonder if they'd let us paint the insides, at least.

I don't see why they wouldn't. I'm sure some people have already done that to their rooms.

That's true! It'd be good to see some differences.

Yeah. I mean, they probably wouldn't appreciate like, full scale renovations or anything, but...

[Winry's mouth twitches.]

Ed could do that with alchemy.

Really? I don't know much about alchemy. The way DiZ explained it to me was like... turning one thing into another thing.

It is! But he could change a house around, if he wanted to do something like that.

Huh... that's pretty cool.

[Riku blinks down at Zoey, who seems to have finished her bowl.]

Would she want more?

It can be. Or pretty scary.

[Ed's taste being what it is.

She looks at Zoey, too.]

No, she'll be good. We need to go home anyway, and she can have more to drink there!

[Winry rinses out her glass and sets it in the sink, not sure what Riku wants to do with the bowl Zoey's drank from.]

Do you want me to wash that?

[Guests aren't supposed to do that...] Huh? No, that's okay. I'll do them after you guys leave.

[She's an extra-polite guest?]

Are you sure? [Okay, now she might be teasing you, based on your reaction, Riku.]

[Aw, c'mon.]

Yes. Even more so now that you're making fun.

[But she has so few people to tease!]

[Zoey barks once in agreement.]

No problem. [He smiles, nodding.] Thanks for coming over.

[Winry gathers up Zoey's leash.]

Thank you for having us! We'll have to do this again sometime, when we're...back to normal.

Yeah. I'm... honestly really looking forward to it. Being able to reach things is something I really took for granted up until now.

[He nods, following her to the door.]

Next time I'll come visit you.
