[ LET'S GET THIS PARTY OFFICIALLY STARTED! Opening events so we don't do too much comm flooding (although people are welcome to make their own posts for the event). You're welcome to toplevel with your character if you'd like to have them show up somewhere else for this plot.

[She smiles at him, looking fairly nonthreatening, but she does tug him along as they head for the nearest bus stop.]

If it's that important, Clark, you can call me Tea. So much for the idea of the mysterious good Samaritan I had going there.

[Clark follows, more happily once he's gotten a name. It could be a fake name for all he knows but it's something, and he'll take it. He likes the girl, and something about her is familiar so so he'll latch onto any excuse to trust her.]

I'll take the good Samaritan, even if not mysterious. You walk a lot of stranded boys back home?

Only the ones that interest me. [She is still holding his arm even as she twists enough to be almost walking backwards. Man, walking is so much more boring than flying.]

For some reason guys tend to think I'm the one that needs escorting. Pretty strange, huh?

[andaway]

Well, you are a pretty girl in a bad neighborhood. [He shrugs as he keeps on walking, matching her stride. Even he realizes that's a bit of an stereotype but he guesses it is one for a reason.]

But you're obviously way more ready to face this than I am.

I'd like to think I've had my share of scrapes to get out of. [She brings up a thin arm in a show of strength. Flexing. Then she side glances at Clark.]

But you think I'm pretty? [Yeah she can't avoid teasing him about that.]

[andaway]

[He shrugs, trying to keep his blush to a minimum. This is a city girl, not blushing Lana Lang.]

I think you know you're pretty.

[That smirk isn't going anywhere. Instead she steps back closer to him, their sides brushing as she keeps her arm wrapped around his.]

I'll take that as a yes. Boy, you're terrible at talking to women, aren't you? Tell her she needs protection, can't tell her you think she's pretty...

I bet you get all flustered when someone asks to kiss you or something

[He lets out an extremely awkward laugh, his voice going a full octave higher.]

Maybe? I would definitely get flustered if a stranger asked me.

[She's got his number.]

I wasn't talking about strangers, but is it really that weird? Sometimes you see someone and there's that spark. You know what I mean.

[Sexual attraction Clark.]

[He does his best to laugh it off. He can tell she wants to embarrass him, or at least tease him about his awkwardness... and he is going to do his best to not give her the pleasure.]

I do. I have kissed girls before, you know. [Girl, singular. And she kissed him, but details.]

Could have fooled me. Should I be wondering what convent you ran away from for the night?

[Oh look the bus stop.] Will I have a Sister Mary Agnes calling me inquiring about your virtue?

[Well. He can't let her get away with that impression- no matter how right it is. He laughs, shaking his head and making sure his tone is as sarcastic as it gets.]

Nah, she totally trusts me. Which is why I get away with talking to pretty girls so late at night in a bad neighborhood.

Is that so? [Tea smirks a bit.] So you're really the sneaky type, hiding a bad boy under your choir boy facade?

And you don't worry that now that I know your secret, I can use it against you?
