WHAT: Age plot kickoff!

[ LET'S GET THIS PARTY OFFICIALLY STARTED! Opening events so we don't do too much comm flooding (although people are welcome to make their own posts for the event). You're welcome to toplevel with your character if you'd like to have them show up somewhere else for this plot.

[Sabriel gapes, partly in shock, and partly in fear.]

That wasn't- that wasn't what I was trying to do! It wasn't supposed to hurt you!

[And she promptly makes a grab for Crocodile's wrist, because clearly what she needs to do is find an older mage to set things right.]

We have to find someone to fix it!

[Crocodile would say something about how he's not hurt, this isn't even close to hurt, but he can't because his mouth is currently a pile of sand on the ground. His wrist is grabbed, but he pulls it away and glares because that's... all he can really do right now. But he scoops up that sand in his arms, because it's not heeding him and joining up to make him solid again. He gives her another stern look. He's not going anywhere without that sand because it is his damn face, do you understand?]

I'm sorry! [Tears are welling up in Sabriel's eyes as she looks down at the sand.]

Maybe if we use water it'll... stick back on?

[His brows furrow. That's... that's actually not a bad idea, considering water normally stops him from turning into sand. But at the same time, he's extremely reluctant since that's a huge weakness of his, and he'd rather not let anyone know about that. Especially some child.

... He also wants to tell her to stop crying, but he can't exactly do that, either.]

I can make water. It's an easy spell. [Then again, so was that silencing spell, and it still went terribly wrong.]

Or... we can find a fountain or something.

[Yeah, he doesn't trust her to use any magic on him again. He's not entirely sure how to signify that he'd rather find a fountain - he's more used to having an actual mouth to speak with, after all - so he'll just start walking ahead. They wouldn't need to go anywhere if he just wanted her to cast another spell on him, after all.]

All right, we'll find a fountain. [Even as a child, Sabriel could take a hint. She still follows him, mostly to make sure he's all right.]

[He's all right, just extremely grumpy. He's not entirely sure where he'll find a fountain, but really, any source of water will do if it puts him back together again.

He keeps walking and doesn't look back at Sabriel, only stopping when he finally notices a mostly full water bottle discarded on the ground near him. He glances over at her and gestures his head towards the bottle.
