[ LET'S GET THIS PARTY OFFICIALLY STARTED! Opening events so we don't do too much comm flooding (although people are welcome to make their own posts for the event). You're welcome to toplevel with your character if you'd like to have them show up somewhere else for this plot.

[Riza reaches gently for Zoey's head and scratches the dog's ears, thinking. Amber eyes eventually trail to Winry, uncertain.]

Hi, Miss Winry.

I'm not sure how people get older and younger, but lots of people said that's happened. It's weird.

[Boba licks Winry's face, happy for the definite familiarity--after all, Riza might be here but she's smaller than Boba's ever known her. And he's a dog. There's only so much understanding a dog can do.]

I feel weird knowing that I don't know the stuff other people say I should know.

I'm not sure how it works either, Riza. I'm hoping we find out soon. [Because this is like talking to Ed, who didn't understand how Winry suddenly got older than him.]

It's okay. There are a lot of strange things going on.

[A soft sigh while Winry looks her over.] Are you hungry? Have you been keeping yourself and Boba fed? Cleaned up?

[Unlike Winry's other 'assigned' charge, Riza has taken good care of herself and Boba. It's not so different from home, in that sense.]

I'm not hungry, no. Boba and I go for walks every day and then I clean him up, and then usually I clean up the bathroom after cleaning him up because it's very messy to clean him... [A pause, and she tilts her head, pressing on.] ..and then I have to clean up myself too, since--well, I already said he gets everything all messy.

I cook a little bit but I have a hard time reaching the stove. Mostly I just make stuff that you can have cold. And there was a big bag of puppy food, so I just feel Boba what the instructions say to feed him, and he seems happy so I guess that's right too.

[Miniature Riza bumps heads with Boba, the movement affectionate.] Boba keeps me company.

Would you like a hot meal? [Because Winry knows how it gets, eating cold stuff all the time. Even if you don't realize it, you miss hot food.] You and Boba can come to dinner!

[Before she realizes it, she's nodding. It's still chilly enough that cold meals aren't particularly pleasant, though she wouldn't complain about it.]

Oh. Um, yes please, Miss Winry! Warm dinner would be really nice.

Great! I'll be happy to make something for you. If you don't mind coming home with me...or I could bring it by your place later.

[But she and Ed could...dunno, play or something, at the house?]
