[ LET'S GET THIS PARTY OFFICIALLY STARTED! Opening events so we don't do too much comm flooding (although people are welcome to make their own posts for the event). You're welcome to toplevel with your character if you'd like to have them show up somewhere else for this plot.

[Okay let him chomp this into his mouth like a cow chewing cud then. There.] Dude, are you in luck. You came across probably the only guy who can help you get a few thousand miles where you gotta go. [That's a lie and Wally knows it, but it makes him feel better.] Where're you from?

Yes, sweet! [Excitement! He doesn't even bother to ask how Wally would be able to get him home, cause honestly he doesn't really care. As long as he gets there.] Qurac, on the border near Bialya.

Qu- [Hearing a home-specific term from a complete stranger throws Wally so much he inhales a wisp of cotton candy and he coughs, pounding his chest. Ugh.] Qurac? Dude, kid- man, I really hate to break this to you, but...this is like another dimension. There's no Qurac here. No Bialya either.

What do you mean there's no Qurac? I was just there. [Gar looks more than a little skeptical of that claim. The alternate dimension thing isn't exactly believable, especially from some random teenager in the streets.]

[If this kid's from home, he might know who Kid Flash is. ...but then again he's from Qurac, and Wally primarily operates in the States. He might not know who he is, even if the League is more or less international and on good terms with Qurac.

Plus, what's he gonna do? Announce he's Kid Flash to someone who might actually know? oh lord is that tempting NO. Robin would kill him.]

Look, I'm from the same world as you and I'm telling you, it's not the same here. There's no Qurac, no Santa Prisca, no Vlatava and no Kasnia. No Gotham, Metropolis, Coast City, Star City or Central City in the US. None of that. You're pretty much on a different planet. [okay walls go easy don't scare the kid]

Oh... okay... [The seriousness of tone is enough for that to be convincing. Not to mention the extensiveness, and specificity of that list.

But lucky Gar doesn't scare easily. Sure, he'd be lying if he tried to say he wasn't at all worried, but he can deal. He just gives a bit of a nervous laugh, and makes a terrible joke, as he's prone to do:] Then I guess I'm more lost then I thought.

But I still need to get home. However I got here [which he still doesn't understand] I can get back the same way, right?

Uh... [Wally glances around. Bench nearby.] Look, we should probably sit down for this. Um- want any cotton candy? Or anything? [Maybe if he's eating something good it'll suck less to hear 'you can't go back home yet' when you're...what, nine?]

[Oh, this doesn't sound good. Talks for which you have to sit down are never good. But he sits anwyays.]

No, thanks. I don't really feel like cotton candy right now. [The shock of walking up in an alternate universe can do that to a kid.]

Wally gives him a look but considering the topic...yeah. They sit down and Wally explains -without a whole lot of fumbling- that they're stuck. Well and truly stuck until something can be done, and that something is a complete mystery.]

Sometimes people just randomly go home. You might get lucky, but until then...

I'm stuck. [He nods solemnly and stares down at his hand for a moment. It's a lot to take in.

--And then he realizes why this is well and truly the worst thing ever.] No! [He flops back and grips his head, frustrated.] I was supposed to help mom with Oryx's medicine. And Monkey's teething! Nooooo, the animals!

Hey, whoa, relax. Look, whenever you get back, you'll go back right where you left off. Swear, cross my heart. [Animals, Qurac, some little ginger...? Geez, that sounds so familiar. Who is he thinking of? Maybe a movie character?]

Look, freaking out about it isn't going to help you. [wow pot and kettle over here] Just take it easy; there's a lot of people working on a solution. [not really] Anyway, what's your name, kid?

[Deeeeep sigh.] Okay. [Time shenanigans sounds about as likely as anything else Wally's said anyways. And true, freaking out, as satisfying as it is, it's not going to accomplish anything.] I guess you're right.

[KIND OF CREEPED OUT LOOK.] How do you know my last name? Have we met before?

I- No. Sorta. I- uhh, I know your mom. Back home. [Oh god that's right, his mother. Definitely not mentioning anything about...that.] Look, can you keep a secret? I mean, really keep it.

[Honestly, he's a little skeptical of that claim to knowing Marie, since he's not sure were someone who is pretty clearly American would have a chance to met her; She doesn't leave Qurac often, and they get visitors at the sanctuary even less often. But, Wally's given him no reason to distrust him so far, so he pushes down the skepticism.]

Sure, yeah, I can do secrets.

[Wally glances to the left.

Then he grabs the collar of his shirt and yanks it down until the yellow suit and the red and white lightning bolt is visible.]
