[ LET'S GET THIS PARTY OFFICIALLY STARTED! Opening events so we don't do too much comm flooding (although people are welcome to make their own posts for the event). You're welcome to toplevel with your character if you'd like to have them show up somewhere else for this plot.

Oh.

[Well, he knew he had roomates. Which is a weird concept since he's only lived with his parents. But still, might as well get to know them if he's going to be living with them for God knows how long.]

I guess it's nice to know you, Ms Barnes. I don't really remember you... I actually don't remember anything at all so I've been trying to fill in the blanks with what people have been telling me.

[girlwithout]

Yeah, I'm... usually I'm a lot younger than this. But we get along pretty well.

[She rubs the back of her neck in a gesture that echoes her younger self.] Did you wanna go see the house? Or did you have something else you were gonna do?

[Clark lets out a nervous chuckle as he points at the wrecked car.]

I think I should probably be as far away from here as I could. The car is wrecked- I guess it must have hit something hard? [Yeah, super believable excuse.] But since no one was hurt I should probably not be here.

So 'house' sounds pretty good to me.

[girlwithout]

[Good-naturedly:] Yeah, something.

[Like she believes that excuse, Clark. But she's nice enough not to call him on it right now. Instead, she leads him to the house and unlocks the door to let them in.] Home sweet home. Do you still have your key, or did it get lost?

[He fishes for something on his pocked... and eventually lets the keys dangle in front of him. Anything to shift the subject from what he did to the car.]

These keys? They were on my pants.

[girlwithout]

Looks like 'em. Good, we don't have to change the locks or anything.

[She leads him in and points out various features.] Kitchen - feel free to help yourself, we share grocery bills - [She may regret that offer.], living room. Bedrooms down that way - I'll point out yours in a minute.

[andaway]

[Yeah, sorry but he only heard as far as 'feel free to help yourself'. Kryptonians have a huge appetite, especially considering they are supposed to be pseudo-autotrophic beings that get energy from the sun.

Teenager Kryptonians? Hide yo fridge, hide your cupboards.] So how come we live together?

[girlwithout]

[She shrugs.] Luck of the draw, pretty much. The government assigns you a place to live when you show up. We can move if we want, but why bother unless you really hate the place?

[andaway]

[Yay, a slice of pizza. Nomnom.]

That's cool, I guess. Not that we are basically told where to live, but that they give us someplace to live.

And we get along?
