AGE PLOT SHENANIGANS

WHAT: Age plot kickoff!
WARNINGS: Cuteness.

[ LET'S GET THIS PARTY OFFICIALLY STARTED! Opening events so we don't do too much comm flooding (although people are welcome to make their own posts for the event). You're welcome to toplevel with your character if you'd like to have them show up somewhere else for this plot.

Oh, don't worry! [shaking his head.] You don't have to do that. He didn't even get anything. [head tilt.] He? She?

He!

[Riza blinks.]

If you're sure it's okay. Papa says you have to make up for when you do something wrong to someone, even if it's not really your fault.

[siriusly]

[he turns himself so he's sitting sideways on the curb, making a sage-sounding hum.] That's not bad advice. You're dad has the right idea. But I think in this case, even if you wanted to make up for something, you won't be able to prove anything went wrong...

[he pauses for mysterious effect before shoving the last half of his sandwich into his mouth in two large bites, dusting off his hands with a couple quick claps. the plastic wrap is crumpled up in a fist as he holds up both hands.

after one large chew:] Thee? Gno ebbidend.

[Riza giggles as he stuffs the sandwich in her face, eyebrows raised. Through her laughter, she responds:]

I have no idea what you just said!

[Man. Six is a fun age, isn't it?] But 'm glad Boba didn't ruin your sandwich!

[siriusly]

[gulp.

after a breath, he laughs a little:] I said, 'no evidence.' You can't prove you did something wrong...or Boba was the culprit. So you're safe from having to make anything up.

[equinamity]

Good!

[She laughs again, scratching Boba's ears.]

Was it a good sandwich too?

[siriusly]

Mm, yeah! Almost like mom's at home. [though this place sure does love its ranch, dang. it drowns out almost everything!] Probably does me better than your little friend – too much green.

[equinamity]

No, I think Boba'd get sick if he ate a sandwich. He'd have an upset tummy for a while. He tried to eat my lunch yesterday and got sick later in the day.

[She sighs.]

[siriusly]

Eeh, yeah? But he's still going at it. Some lessons just don't get learned, huh. [a sympathetic smile.] Guess it's good you got sharper eyes on him today.

[equinamity]

Well, he's still little.

[Not that she really has reign to call someone or something "little", considering.]

Hopefully when he gets bigger he'll know better. For now I'll just keep reminding him.

That's pretty responsible thinking. [she's either going to stick to it or be like Manabu was at that age and say things and forget about it in like a day.

speaking of being that age, Manabu realizes she is a very little kid just chatting it up with a stranger. of course he knows he's not a weirdo, but...]

Where're your folks at? [he leans so he can glance past her and see some of what's going on down the street.] Or class...if kids your age get to go out at this time of day...
