WARNINGS: Traumatic memories. Possible talk of murder, death, blood, other nasty things. I'll try to update if the warnings needed but please use content warnings if it gets super nasty!

It starts off on March 4th, the early morning before the sun's even risen. You know those weird mirages that were hanging around the day before? Well now it's getting a little personal.

These mirages come and go seemingly for no reason. They might stay for a minute, they might stay for an hour. The images vary between person but the unifying factor is that the mirages consist of people the player characters have hurt, whether people in-game or from their homes. Whether they murdered them, slandered them, or even had a petty little argument, the unifying factor is the guilt each character feels towards or about this mirage. After all, you know you hurt them somehow. You know their existence somehow makes you feel guilty.

Another unifying factor? The creepy way these mirages just seem to stick to you. They'll follow you if you try to leave, staring you down with their creepy unblinking mirage eyes. And whoops: everybody can see said mirages. Hopefully you're not being stalked by someone you and somebody else both know, wouldn't that be awkward?

[ Adachi let out a huff, finally giving up once he dragged him a fair distance. ]

You're drunk. You saying you're not going to do anything means shit. Go be miserable somewhere else.

[ Now if you'll excuse him, hopefully no one flitched his beer. ]

[which archie is more than okay with, seeing as hunk doesn't like crobat.]

This ain't the first time I've ever been out on the town. First fuckin' time some uppity... [gesture at adachi.] you decided to intervene, though!

[He literally couldn't be any more sarcastic. ]

[ Adachi forked a thumb back toward the place. ]

Did you see anyone else being rowdy? This isn't some sea shanty, punk. Now scram, before I throw you.

[he stays where he is, crossing his arms.]

[ Adachi took a step back, mimicking his posture. ]

You don't want me to do that.

[ Because he is so annoyed at this point, he would abuse his Persona that much. ]

Really? 'Cause I haven't done anything to resist you so far. Ain't gonna look good, you doin' that.

[he does Not move.]

...you literally tried to make me hold your hand and escort you out like a baby.

[ He dropped his arms, turning to go back to the bar. It wasn't worth feeding into bullies anyway. ]

Go find your boyfriend's hand to hold or something.

And I was just about to leave quietly.

[GUESS WHO HE'S GONNA TRY AND DECK IT'S ADACHI]

[ So much for him being non-violent hunh? As soon as he hears Archie heading for him, Adachi ducked down in textbook perfect form, aiming his fist up at his gut and--! ]

[ ...h-he was pretty sure he just broke his hand. Ow, ow; not cool! ]

[...that makes him cough. that's it. one single cough, before he straightens up again.]

Yeah, see, non-violence only works so much. What have you learned about making shitty comments?

[ Adachi hissed softly as his hand reminded him he makes very poor life choices, grateful the guy didn't follow through. He totally could have easly beat him into the pavement from that position. ]

Don't hold yourself back when dealing with muscle heads?

[ ...so about that poor life choices thing. ]

Yeah, okay, I'll believe that was you holding back.

[PLEASE, ADACHI.]

[ He paused a moment, shuffling back as best he could in his position. ]

How about make sure the boyfriend is present next time?

You're gonna make me actually angry at this rate.

[it looks like he's not going to do anything... UNTIL SUDDEN LEG SWEEP.]

[ There's a loud CLUNK as something hits the ground, and Archie will find his leg hitting metal instead of flesh. It's a massive blade, black and red, with a gloved, clawed hand gripping it. If Archie followed the red and black arm up, he'll find himself staring at a beady pair of yellow, glowing eyes glaring down at him from a blood red mask. ]

[ Adachi let out a sigh, pulling himself up and dusting himself off, hos hand absently still clenched from when he grabbed for his Arcana card. ]

Geeze, actually making me summon. You're a real pain in the ass, you know that?

[ There's a lopsided grin on his face that definitely goves the impression he was just waiting for the chance to unleash his powers on an actual target. ]

[archie swears and stumbles back, raising his fists briefly before letting them drop down. shit. fuck. hell.

immediately, he pulls crobat's ball off his belt and flings it up into the air. crobat appears with a screech, already sensing the tension in the air.]

Crobat, poison this asshole!

[it screeches again, making a giant glowing x of purple... whatever in front of it.]

[ ...wait, what the hell?! Adachi covered his mouth as Magatsu Izanagi raised an arm to protect his face, the both of them backing up from... whatever that bat had done. Was it a spell or something? Hell, was that thing even a bat?! No creature should have a mouth that big! ]

[ More importantly, though: ]

You keep animals in tiny balls? What kind of monster are you?!

[ignoring the comment, arche just watches, fists clenched as crobat fires off the cross of poison. the move is called cross poison. genius.]
