[ Her eyes are barely open, and the way she's rubbing them, her mind's still half in whatever dream she came from. She's not wearing a watch.

[ The surprise snaps her up like nothing else has so far, alert eyes meeting Ken's . . . and then looking beyond him, side to side, at the carnage of feathers scattered over the living room. ]

[ And a DIRECT HIT from above, as Ikki lands on her. ]

[ It's really not okay and being stuck under Ikki as a boy is very. very different from being trapped under Ikki as a bird (not that she's moving to get free), and Ikki as a bird dropped half of his feathers and is he moulting? and
