Yeah. Yeah that's-- that sounds good. Hopefully we won't need to resort to that for awhile.

[And that about does it. For a brief moment, it seems like Ken is going to fall silent, stay like this until he pulls away and tries to go about life as usual. But he doesn't pull alway, and instead leans on Dipper a little more with a feeble hope that it might make him feel better.

I'm always here for you. He and Dipper didn't always talk about serious things, and they yelled at each other about a lot of stupid things, but Dipper always, always was here for him. Even when Ken tried to push away his help.

Ken doesn't say anything, but he buries his face against Dipper's shoulder, and it's with a sniffle that he eventually breaks the silence.]

[Is Ken crying? Was that a sad sniffle? Maybe it's just allergies?? Dipper has no idea what to do when someone's crying.

He tenses up, but then tells himself he's being stupid. He just has to be here for Ken. And maybe give him a tissue.]

It-it's okay. Things won't always be this crazy.

[amadaman]

[Oh, that was a sad sniffle all right. And one that persists even as he nods against Dipper's shoulder. He's trying not to break down on his poor boyfriend, but right now, he just wants to be with him -- with someone who'll have him nearby.]

No, they're gonna be. They're always gonna be... but I could handle it, if I have somewhere to go.

You have me. And all of Nonah 05. We're your family, right?

[Even if they weren't dating... Dipper would hope that he can be that kind of person for Ken.]

[amadaman]

Yeah. You are. Thanks... thank you.

[Dipper is a warm presence to be with, and it's comforting.]

It makes me happy to know I have you.

We've got each other. I promise not to disappear without saying anything again.

[At least, he'll try. The Pines life is a little hectic.]
