[Did he... Just take advice. Did he just do that. His dreaded African nightmare charges onscreen again...

The protracted battle takes his whole attention. His body leans a little back and forth with his character, hyper focused. The first time it shoots, his timing is off. The second, too early; he falls right into the tusk.

The third time though, he gets it, neatly falling into position to lay down extra pain without getting hurt. Encouraged, he grits his teeth, mashing the a button as fast as he can manage.


And it bursts into sparks, sinking into the ground in a series of dramatic explosions. Why did it explode? Was it a robot? All these and more he could answer if he could read or speak English. A little ironic, considering it's actually from Japan.

[Yayoi's on the edge of her seat through each attempt, groaning at the failures—seriously, who designed this game? But when he finally makes it she lets out a little cheer and throws her hands up.]

He saves about ten times. There is no way he's repeating that madness.]
