But hell, if it was a way to see Ms. Carter in action,
And also a way to meet other people (aka pick up chicks) so he'd do it.
Although it's mostly with a relaxed air that he was there. Not exactly here to be serious, but not here to cause trouble, either. ]

Mr. Stark, how nice to see you here.
[ A pleasant smile as she walks towards him. ]
Are you looking to partake in a class?
no subject
[ He gestured around the room, like he was surprised by the people who'd showed up. ]
Nice turnout, by the way. I thought I'd stop by and see how my rusty old skills hold up against everyone else's. I don't use them as much as I should -- at least to keep them in shape, you know?
Heaven forbid I actually need them, I might be in trouble.
no subject
[ It made her feel encouraged. ]
This kind of training would be suitable to brush up on your skills. Or to keep fit, if that is also something you're interested in.
[ She won't know the full extent of his skills until she actually spars with him. ]
All the more reason for you to take a class, hm? Can't have you in trouble.
no subject
[ He shook his head, and rolled his head to one side, trying to stretch it out on instinct. ]
I was mostly taught in hand to hand. Good friend of mine, actually. I try to keep up with it, but... I've just got so much going on. You know how it is. Personally, I'm always best with practical application more than...drills and all that nonsense.
no subject
[ She could understand why Tony allowed his training to fall to the wayside, but at least he was making some kind of effort by showing up. ]
Practical application is what I specialise in, Mr. Stark. While I did lead training drills during the war, that was necessary at the time. Which I'm sure you must have read about. If you want to demonstrate your skills, then you only need to say so.
no subject
[ A grin. Well, he liked showing off, but he had no doubts that at this? It wouldn't be showing off in the slightest. ]
But maybe some practice wouldn't be so bad.
no subject
[ Perhaps she was a little curious about what he could do. ]
Shall we begin with a brief warm-up before getting to practice?
no subject
[ A grin, and he stretched his neck back and forth. ]
Sure. Now go easy on me, when I say rusty, I do mean rusty.
Did you want to... grapple, or...
no subject
['Grapple' seemed like such a vulgar term.]
Then we can carry on from there.
no subject
As you can tell, I'm not even used to that much.
[ Despite. You know, what is obviously a well-cut body.
He may work out, but it's all for you know, aestetic reasons, and not actually for any other reason than that. ]
Okay, so cardio. At least that I can do.
no subject
Excellent. I think we should begin with some marching on the spot before doing some jumping jacks.
[ And Peggy starts to march, swinging her arms as she goes. Let's see if he can keep up with her. ]
no subject
[ He looks a little... surprised? Confused? What happened to running? That he can do, he doesn't look like an idiot if he goes running...unless he's wearing a Forbes cutoff.
But hey. He'll join in.
Slowly. And self consciously. ]
Right, so. Marching on the spot. Can do.
[ And thankfully, he has the endurance to go for a while. Thanks nanoviruses! ]
no subject
Excellent. Just the attitude I like.
[ As long as he didn't give her any lip while they were doing it, everything would be fine. ]
Keep going until I stop.
no subject
[ And he does, following along. He can at least keep up with this. The trouble will be the fighting. ]
Just say when.
no subject
[ In fact, Peggy keeps the jumping jacks going until she reaches a count of twenty. Then she stops there. ]
And now. I think that's enough.
Hi you have a great username I love it
A few minutes of careful thought later and it dawns on her: he was the owner of Stark Technologies, the company that Winry worked for.
And while she is a bit loathe to admit it, Riza is
fascinatedinterested in the unusual technology in Heropa at least ninety-eight percent of the time. So, since she's early and Tony appears currently unoccupied, she approaches him.]Mr. Stark? [Riza smiles politely, offering her hand.] I don't believe we've met, but a good friend of mine works for you--Winry Rockbell. I've heard lots about you.
heh heh ty i can't take credit for it sadly my friends are more clever than i
Winry? Huh, yeah, she works for me. I didn't realize I was in that high regard, if she's talking about me.
[ Well, yes, he expects to be so. His tone is light, and friendly. ] I hope it's all good, anyway.
It's great regardless!
I've mostly heard your name in passing... And the name of the company, of course. Winry seems to enjoy her work.
[Riza folds her hands behind her and sighs, her smile almost sheepish.] Thankfully she's far better with the technology here than I am.
ty!!
[ A grin. ] Just like me? I'm not so good on this whole fighting thing. So I'm sure if you're here, you're probably going to do me in pretty quickly.

[Riza glances around the room, the habit born from years of serving as a soldier, scouring the various persons in stages of simulated combat. There is likely no threat in this room--not a real one, anyway--but that doesn't stop her from looking with her own eyes to be sure.
Her gaze falls back on Tony, and she shrugs just slightly.] Hardly. I'm here to learn like everyone else.
Besides, I am a sniper and firearms expert before anything else. I hardly prefer hand to hand combat. If I have things my way, the treat will never come close enough for this training to be useful.
no subject
Nothing wrong with diversifying, is there? I can't blame you, actually. I think we're all here for the same reason, but it's reassuring to know that I'm not the only person who has skills in other areas -- [ A look around the room. ] Not that I'm sure the others don't, but I don't know them.
So you're in the military, then? From Winry's world? I don't know much about your side of things, she hasn't said much.
no subject
Yes. First Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Stark. All of this conversation, and I've not introduced myself. I suppose that is what happens when one's reputation precedes them.
[Hawkeye's gaze darkens slightly, and she nods.] I don't blame her. There isn't much good to be said of Amestris.
I don't have much to say either, certainly not to those I don't know well.
no subject
[ He held up his hands. Curiosity denied, but hell. He can't blame her. ]
No need to justify it, I don't exactly talk about where I come from much either, and... I really like the place I'm from.
But you know, it gets to make you a little homesick after a while.
no subject
All in good fun, you know how it is. Right?]
I suppose I would feel similarly if I had more fond feelings towards where I was from.
[Riza shrugs just slightly, blinking.] I don't think I've ever been homesick. Not when I was a cadet and left my home town for the first time. Or when I'd first left East City. I've been here the better part of a year.
[She folds her hands behind her, gaze falling on the ground in front of her feet.]
The idea of being homesick is entirely foreign to me.
