WHO: Houka Inumuta, Uzu Sanageyama, Ira Gamagori, Senketsu?
WHERE: Apartment #29, Heropa.
WHEN: Backdated to April 6th, around 2AM.
WHAT: ROOMMATES??
WARNINGS: None so far. Possibly swearing in the future.
He's been at apartment #29 for a while.
Houka may have landed at approximately the same time as his other roommates, but he was quicker to get to their shared apartment and claim his room before anyone else had even arrived. A need for immediate privacy was what drove Inumuta to arrive so early, and once he had settled in to the new atmosphere, he could feel as if he could breathe a little better. As if it wasn't bad enough that he had been left behind- timeline wise- in comparison to his other teammates, but to not have some breathing room to himself? He really couldn't take that.
Having already mapped out the layout of the house, Inumuta settled into the living room, browsing his new communicator for network posts and waiting for his other roommates to arrive. While he wanted to measure the extent of his new abilities- these new powers he could just feel underneath his skin- he kept it under control, containing himself at least until all of his teammates arrived. He wasn't sure the full extent of his abilities, but if they were anything dangerous, he would want at least Gamagori and Sanageyama around to help him with the fallout.

"Someone explained this to me, actually." Seriously, thank god for Ruka or he'd be clueless entirely. "You can come here at any time, and the people you know can too - but in the end, nothing changes once you go back. Like a rubber band."
The rubber band part would make sense if he...y'know, properly explained it.

He makes a gesture with his hands like stretching one out and then letting it snap back into place.
"No matter how far you get, you end up right where you started. It's a little weird though - the girl who explained it to me said she's been here five years, and if she went home, she'd be a kid again on account of losing those five years. I can't imagine going through that."
no subject
Five years though. That's... incredible, really. He had figured that this would last a month, maybe a few months at most- but now with the information that this could go on for years...?
"Concerning." That's all he has to say about that right now, apparently.

Inumuta come on, it's crazy.
no subject
...Did you fall asleep, Sanageyama?

"Because we already knew that."
no subject
Fuckin'.
"Nevermind. Just... nevermind."

"Anyway, no point in worrying about the hows or whys right now. We can focus on that once we're settled in. Have you used your uniform yet?"
no subject
"The point isn't to settle in, Sanageyama. We don't belong here. We aren't even in the right country." He might not be as upset as Gamagori is about having to register, but he still doesn't intend on settling. "But no, I haven't used my uniform yet. There is however, something I've been wanting to try out since arriving, but I didn't want to try it without some backup. And now that you're not blind-" Since, you know, he's noticed, "you can supervise."

"I mean, I've never been to America before, even if it's an America on another world. I'd like to check the place out a bit."
Maybe a bit too laid back for Inumuta's liking, but he's missed things being crazy. The enemy being defeated and losing their uniforms just meant things returned to being so...mundane that he isn't disliking this experience at all. If anything, he welcomes it.
Plus he gets to be a superhero, how is that not the coolest thing ever.
"I thought as much though - seems like everyone has some new tricks up their sleeve here. What did you want to do?"
no subject
Now is also probably not the time to discuss this. Later, he'll bring it up again. For now...
"I'm going to go into my phone." Does this sound stupid? Because it probably sounds stupid.
no subject
"Go into your phone."
What.

His new power seems so simple by comparison, he almost wishes he'd gotten something as exciting as that.
"So...what do you need me to do?"
no subject

"...and what do I do if something does go wrong?"

He nods, taking his phone out of his jacket pocket and navigating it real quick. Fortunately they'd explained a few things before hand so he manages to get the I.P easily enough, showing it to Inumuta.
"Whenever you're ready then."

He places his phone down on a nearby table, and focuses. Shouldn't be any different than activating his probe regalia, just a matter of putting his mind to it, right?
There's a good deal of silence and Inumuta just staring at his phone. Eventually, much like in Tron, he slowly starts disappearing one "pixel" at a time, turning into squares of blue and white and being taken in by his phone. Once he's gone entirely, his phone keeps a consistent blue glow.

Hello Sanageyama.
no subject
"Hey?"
No, wait, can he hear him? Unsure, he decides to type it into the phone too, just in case. Either way he'll get a response, so.
that u? can u hear me or do i need 2 type to u
Maybe he can read unsent texts if he just...leaves it there.
no subject
I can hear you through your microphone. But it's easier to process if you type. It's amazing in here, Sanageyama. Everything is perfect.
