Blinded by nostalgia

WHO: Houka Inumuta, Uzu Sanageyama, Ira Gamagori, Senketsu?
WHERE: Apartment #29, Heropa.
WHEN: Backdated to April 6th, around 2AM.
WHAT: ROOMMATES??
WARNINGS: None so far. Possibly swearing in the future.

He's been at apartment #29 for a while.

Houka may have landed at approximately the same time as his other roommates, but he was quicker to get to their shared apartment and claim his room before anyone else had even arrived. A need for immediate privacy was what drove Inumuta to arrive so early, and once he had settled in to the new atmosphere, he could feel as if he could breathe a little better. As if it wasn't bad enough that he had been left behind- timeline wise- in comparison to his other teammates, but to not have some breathing room to himself? He really couldn't take that.

Having already mapped out the layout of the house, Inumuta settled into the living room, browsing his new communicator for network posts and waiting for his other roommates to arrive. While he wanted to measure the extent of his new abilities- these new powers he could just feel underneath his skin- he kept it under control, containing himself at least until all of his teammates arrived. He wasn't sure the full extent of his abilities, but if they were anything dangerous, he would want at least Gamagori and Sanageyama around to help him with the fallout.

When he first arrives, he doesn't expect to see anyone but Gamagori, if the guy is even home. He can tell that someone is inside, but it's definitely not him, so maybe they have some other roommate? Kind of lame, but he'll deal. He proceeds to unlock the door and walks in, closing it behind him.

"Yo, I'm gonna be living here. I'm guessing you're--"

Wait a second.

"--when the hell did you get here?!"

"Sanageyama, inside voice." Gamagori IS here- too. He's sitting in the living room as well reading what looks to be a newspaper and drinking something steaming.

Inumuta nods in agreement with Gamagori, who has also been here for a short while. Skimming his phone, he soon grows a little bored with just that, and takes a sip from the teacup on the shared table in the living room. He and Gamagori went out for tea, where the hell have you been, Sanageyama?

"Around twelve. The third room is mine, for the record." It has the most wall outlets. "It's nice to see you, Sanageyama. I suppose you're from the same... 'time' as Gamagori?" Considering they both have the same kind of outfit, and he's... well. Still in white and silver.

Inside voice? Time? He doesn't even know where to begin!...so he turns to Gamagori first.

"Oi, did you know he was here?"

...and then back to Inumuta.

"...yeah, I am. Exactly how far back are you?" Ruka had explained the whole timeline thing to him, fortunately, so no explanations needed. "You could've at least tried to find me, you know. Were you at registration? Did you register?"

"Yes. Though after we spoke. I met him after our registration." And he'll glance at Inumuta as well. How far back- he knows Inumuta will dislike talking about that subject, but he won't interject...

There is no knock to invite himself into his own assigned living quarters, only some uncertain shuffling at the door before he shuffles in, obviously worn by all of the activities that had been crammed into a single day, carried this time on his own two feet. But this day has clearly not thrown up the white flag, because even coming home has its own surprises in store.

The fatigue fades--as best it can--when he finds the majority of Satsuki's posse gathered together in the living room.

"It almost feels like I'm back ho--"

Wait.

Senketsu's eye flitters between Inumuta's uniform, then Sanageyama's, then Gamagoori's. Then back to Inumuta.

"Um."

What.

It's upsetting when he has to answer that. How far back are you? He used to be the one on top of things. Planning so far into the future it was like he was psychic. Now he's being asked how far back he was.

"I registered. And you should know, simply by looking, how 'far back' I'm from." Maybe a little bitter. Enough that he's not going to answer why he didn't try to find him.

...And then something very strange enters the housing unit, and Inumuta glances up, looking 'it' over. Semi-familiar markings, coloring...

Okay, he's going to cheat, his mind has been fried a little too much for him to be on top of this entirely. A few swipes of his phone, and-

"Senketsu."

He says it out loud first, before it really registers what he's saying. ...This is Senketsu? The uniform Matoi spoke to? This does not look like a uniform whatsoever. But, Inumuta is great, if anything, at keeping things like secrets and emotions hidden. So there's little more than an arched eyebrow in response, after he says the other's name.

...."Senketsu?" Wait ...that Senketsu?

He sees you, you cheating son of a bitch.

Sanageyama recognizes the voice from having spoken to him before, so he doesn't turn just yet to face their new arrival. He gets to be the one in the know this time.

"Neither of you knew he was here? Shows what you can miss if you don't look out for people you might know."

Houka.

But then, if he's here, that must mean...

He looks over his shoulder towards Senketsu.

"...do you live here too?"

Senketsu casts an awkward smile to all of them, choosing not to dwell on his confusion. Relatively speaking, Inumuta and Gamagoori have a far more bewildering piece of information to process: himself, and the body he's in right now.

"Good evening, everyone," he greets with a wave. "Or, ah...it's morning by now."

He nods in Sanageyama's direction. "This is where I was told that I'd be staying."

"I stayed up to wait for you to arrive, if that's any consolation, Sanageyama." Come on man, he didn't even look for Gamagori. He just kind of... found him. You know, what with him being like twenty feet tall sometimes. Don't be such a baby, Uzu.

As Senketsu steps into the house, Inumuta gets to his feet and starts walking over. Mostly to look Senketsu over. "I had no idea you had sentience. Or a body," Inumuta continues, circling Senketsu. "Is this another thing you neglected to tell me about, Gamagori?" Because he gonna be mad, if so.

"Hm- so making you like this- is what this place and these people are capable of... How else have you changed? Do you still function as regalia?"

"What- I didn't know he was changed, but later we did find out he was senient- I believe I mentioned life fibers being sentient, Inumuta." A glare. Or at least capable of sentience. That conversation to keep Inumuta up to tabs on everything was really intense. Inumuta did not seem to let him take a break from thinking about everything that happened...

He doesn't really retain like Inumuta does, Gamagori does everything through gut and heart.

"You didn't imply their sentience was similar to that of a human, and not of an animal." He was kind of expecting something more dull witted, from the way Gamagori spoke of 'giant suit soldier life fibers.' "But I suppose I can't expect more from you than what you've already told me." He knows your brain power only goes so far, Ira.

Wow. Say that outloud you little-

"When I said sentient I meant as a human would be. Would couldn't speak to those things just like we couldn't speak to Senketsu, or someone that doesn't know Japanese." Scowl. Language barrier, ugh.

"This would have been useful information to explain earlier, but better late than never. Thank you for letting me know now that I've brought it up. Is there anything else I should remind you of, to combat your inadequate exposition?" The sass never ends. And without Jakuzure for him to sass at, it's going to fall on you guys. Sorry.

"Perhaps asking questions in an understandable manner is something you should look into. If you ever want appropriate answers. A mouth like that and I doubt you'll ever get what you need." Crosses his arms, tight over his chest. Jeeze, and he was trying to be chill with you when you had that little break down earlier.

"A lot has happened." Eyes slim. "You missed many things, you need to be more specific with what you want to know."

Ugh, don't remind him how little he knows...

"I didn't know you required such specific phrasing that the wrong keywords would alter your response. I'll treat you as I would a rudimentary A.I. program next time I ask you anything, in that case." He can do the crossed arms thing too.

He's not sure what- he even means there, or if it's an insult- but he knows an insult by tone at least, and scowls, hunching a bit more.

"I'm just saying a man should be straight forward with what he wants."

"Are you implying something?" SOMETHING ABOUT HIS MANLINESS? So what if he has very... wide hips? And. Dainty hands.

"Yes." MAYBE HE IS. Maybe it looks like you have NOTHING in your final regalia and he questions your manhood! Maybe he's just getting pissy.
