archie sits on the floor of the living room, having moved all the furniture out the way, made a little makeshift bed for the poochyena puppies. they're both asleep, and he is casually writing something down on a pad. he glances over to may, stone faced.

if there is one thing he is taking seriously, it's who these dogs are going to. one slip up and you're banned.

[ Adachi sat on the floor like he was in the middle of an all important tea ceremony, feeling the sweat prickling at the back of his neck. Why the hell had he decided to do this? He didn't know the first thing about raising dogs, not to mention some mutant dog that hatched from an egg. ]

[ He let out a sigh after a moment, planting his hands on his knees. May as well get this over with... ]

Well, I can get in front of dark energy and stop it from affecting anyone else. My powers nullify dark-based attacks, so it's fine. Ice though...

...I guess just make sure the little guy's pointed at something that won't get harmed by it. Either way, they're gonna get a scolding afterwards; make sure they don't do it again unless ordered.

That's a good start. They're still puppies, so it probably wouldn't be very strong...

You don't want to take the attacks. That'll give it the wrong impression about usin' its powers, they shouldn't be suppressed for fear of hurting someone, they should be taught to be used correctly. The Poochyena shouldn't feel like it'll hurt people because it can't control its own abilities.

[it's true archie is judging adachi more harshly, but right now he has to point out that taking the attacks is kind of a dumb idea. even if adachi could shrug them off.]

I can write up a list of moves Poochyena can learn.

Manabu smiles weakly, ducking his head when he slips in, taking his shoes off at the door. he lingers in the foyer for a bit longer out of courtesy.]

[He's still more than a bit ???? over the whole. Helping vet these people, but he can't say it's not nice to be included. Even if he is more or less lurking, and trying not to get in the way, while still noting who takes the pups.

Mostly he's just watching as he sits cross legged on the floor, chin in hand and elbow propped on a knee. Included or not, he's not one of the pair who let their pokemon bred in this world.

Also, while he's trying to keep it hidden, there is a vibe coming from Nikolai that the new trainers better take care of the pokemon.]

mightyena pads over to him, sniffing at him curiously. archie always returns him when he's around niko but the dog doesn't know why.
