WHAT: Yuri's just been returned from getting a power update, and now he's PRACTICING

[It's been a full day since anyone's seen or heard from Yuri, but anyone who might have worried can put their fears to rest now. There are scattered reports surfacing on Bwitter about snow blanketing a corner of the park in spite of the comfortable 70 degree weather. The coating of snow pretty patchy and doesn't spread out very far, but it's more than enough to keep the blond Russian at the center of it delighted.

Yurio's settled in the center of the patchy snowscape to work on putting together a snowman, rolling up as much of the melting snow as he can and occasionally magicking up a fresh mound to work with. There are plenty of these small snowdrifts left sitting around just waiting to be made into snowballs or another snowman, but it's just so much easier to make a new drift right beside himself instead. Once he's satisfied with the basic structure he steps back to consider the decoration, turning to glance at whoever happens to be nearby.]

Hey, you don't have anything that'd make a good nose or eyes on you, do you?

[He doesn't say anything, just grins while the familiar light of transformation envelops him. He doesn't get any smaller though. If anything it looks like he's bulking up and—ah.

Well. That sure is a white tiger sitting proudly in Yurio's place now.]

[ Viktor takes a step back in surprise, eyes widening and mouth dropping open. Then he barks a laugh, eyes sparkling. ]

Wow! Amazing!

[Yurio lets out a rough sound that's somewhere between a purr and a growl.]

Told you it was the coolest one.

[ Viktor strides forward, already reaching out to pet behind his ears. ]

And you can talk in that form too! That's so convenient.

[He lays his ears back

and tilts his head to make his ears easier to reach at the same time.]

It'd be a problem if I couldn't reassure people in this form.

True enough. Wow, I think you're bigger than me like this!

[He cocks an ear curiously, giving him a long look.]

You really think so?

You're a tiger, Yura.

Yeah, but I'm still not fully grown, am I?

[He is, but for a tiger this means he's only very slightly smaller than Viktor. And likely still weighs quite a bit more than him.]

Maybe not, I suppose. Here, why don't you rear up, paws on my shoulders. Like they do in the circuses! See just how big you are.

[ Viktor looks way too excited to be moments away from being under a tiger. ]

[He shrugs as best he can while a huge, shaggy tiger, and rears up on his hind legs to rest his paws on Viktor's shoulders. Enjoy bearing an extra two or three hundred pounds of weight there, buddy.]

[ He has to rearrange his feet to brace for the weight, hands on Yuri's front legs while he laughs. ]

Wooow~ You really are big, Yura!

[He laughs, the sound like a low, halting purr.]

It's about time I got a really good power like this.

Your others were good too, you know.

[ He shifts his hands, scritching under Yuri's neck. ]

[He starts to tilt his head to allow that and abruptly remembers who and where he is and pushes away from Viktor so he can drop back to all fours.]

Don't get so familiar just because I look like this.

[ The abrupt movement makes him stumble back a step or two, but he catches himself. ]

Aren't I familiar with you no matter what form?

Yeah, but you'd be familiar with someone you met five minutes ago. You're no good at boundaries.

[ Now he pouts, voice turning whiny. ]

That's not true.

[There's another flash of light, and Yurio returns to his natural form so he can turn a more effective judging look on Viktor.]

It's absolutely true. Katsudon would agree with me.

[ More pouting. ]

Is not. I keep my hands to myself, except for you and Yuuri.

...Really?

Really.

[ Come to think of it, when was the last time Yuri saw Viktor touch other people let alone drape on them like he does with he and Yuuri? ]

[...Huh. That...doesn't make a lot of sense to Yuri, to be honest.]

I don't know; it just is. I mean, I get what makes Katsudon special, but...

[But it's weird to think that means he's actually on a similar level to the other man in Viktor's eyes.]
