[Oh, was that really what he thought it was? He notes that blip and its timing and...yeah he's pretty sure he knows what that is. He tries to remember how it feels and files it away in his small storage area that holds these different emotions that leak through from Spock's side from time to time.

He just laughs at that and there's a half wave of a hand, dismissing it. Because seriously?]

[ He tilts his head slightly as he watches Jim back up, his own expression softening as he indulges with something close to a smile. ]

[Jim had been getting ready to make a lascivious comment but the sight of a near smile on Spock's face stops him, smile losing even its amusement to it as it remains just a sunny grin at that. He almost didn't want to blink in case it was just an illusion.]
