How green are your valleys, how blue is your sky
WHO:The residents of Pevensie Farm and you!
WHERE:the farm outside De Chima
WHEN:All of July!
WHAT: Open Log
WARNINGS:lots of dogs and a grumpy horse

It’s July in De Chima, so perhaps you’ve come to swim in the lake Lucy just officially bought, or were youconned invited to go camping with Kel and Six? Play with one of the dogs or ride the horses, you have options! Enjoy the dead of summer!
Just mind those two weeks of chaos as the farmhouse is updated to having electricity and internet. De Chima’s newest Ambassador has to have a professional email account after all.

Kel!
[Kel is always happy to see a sparring partner, and the farm boasts several flat areas perfect for such workouts. Come at her with sword, pole arm, or just hand to hand]
[The last week of June and first week at least of July mostly involves Kel leaving the farm early in the morning and coming home late. Or spending lots of time out in the pastures with the horses and no one else. Catch her in De Chima on ‘errands’ or just as she’s coming back home. Somehow, it’s always right before the sun goes down, no matter how late that is.]
[Peachblossom has gotten far too good at getting in and out of the pastures and trotting off on his own. He avoids the main roads with their hovercars and weird smells, but can get right up to the edge of De Chima when he’s bored enough. It might be that one of the dogs tag along with him, but mostly he’s out looking for something Interesting to see]
[In the middle of July, Kel comes home with a new family member and sets about introducing him to the rest of the zoo. With varying successes….]
It's pony time
Not...like, one of the farm dogs, he knows the one.]
MONGE!! My horse came back, zura!!
follow the pretty pony
Oh yes, that one. That one had apples last time and can look human. 7/10, would not bite right away.
Shaking his mane, he trots over and shoves Komasan's chest in ALmost affection. Got anymore apples?]
PONIES
Are you lost?
Can you see the little ponies/ dance before your eyes
'Lost' is a two-legger term.]

You're certainly wandering far from home. Shouldn't you get back to your farm?

More horsing around ~ Early July
This time, he didn't try to go slow - though that didn't mean he was without caution - and instead moved around the street so he could approach it from a mostly head-on direction. And to make sure it was aware of him, he gave a sharp whistle. An apple already being extended forward in an open hand.
As long as the guy didn't back up too much, Daryl would continue his approach until he was in arms length. Then he'd stop. Keep his distance just in case.]

Since he's coming forward bearing gifts, Peachblossom will put aside his breach of bad manners last time, and keep his ears pricked forward and his head up. As Daryl stops, Peachblossom leans in and sniffs the apple, rumbling in a not unfriendly way]
no subject
Hey.
[A simple greeting, but one he already knew the horse would understand. Guy was a smart cookie.]
Been a while. Apples are fresh. And it looks like the peaches are starting to come in. Gonna have to cut those open for you at the end. They got pits in 'em you ain't gonna want to bite inta that.

Waiting and waiting and-- ]
Aha, there you are.
[ On seeing her, she'll swing her boots down off the porch rail, as if preparing to get up. ]
I never try to out think you, dear
Yes, home at the same time as usual.
[If Hawke wants to get up, that's fine, but Kel's unshouldering this pack onto the porch.]

Lu
[The new ambassador doesn't usually take office visits on the farm, but today she is: her office is open inside of the house, a cool dark room with a desk and her reams of paperwork as she transitions her things and goes over all the paperwork Mitchell gave her. It's easy to meet with her, though; she's very amiable to visitors. Just make sure to knock, first.]
b;
[But it's still hot summer, and Lucy loves summertime. In the evenings she spends her time just as the sun is setting barefoot, her skirt tied up around her knees, her dog with her. She tracks fireflies. If you catch her there, she's just as likely imitating their light with pulsing lights of her own.]
b
Lucy! Lovely evening, isn't it?

And on.
And off.
She twirls and then hears his voice. She seems very young for a moment, or very innocent, or both. She's flushed and smiling.]

...twenty... [ THUNK. ] ...twenty-one... [ THUNK. ] ...twenty-two...
[ As much as Hawke is hoping to net that final approval to get the house renovated for actual electricity, that doesn't do much for what they still have to do for now. That means firewood for Six and all his cooking. That also means dressing comfortably down to jeans and her now-usual black tank top. It's something she could leave to Kel, but she'd since picked up the habit of getting up and adding to the wood pile after feeding the animals. Besides, who doesn't like splitting logs with a big ol' axe? ]
...twenty-three... twenty-why couldn't Carver be here? This was always Carver's thing!
[ Said, for the most part, to the dogs who linger nearby, watching. ]
b. walking the doggos
[ And then there's walking the dogs, which she does much more often than chopping wood. Much more enjoyable, too. The route isn't always predictable, so it leads her and the mass of dogs ranging across different places on the property. Hawke and the dogs can be most often found:
At the lake, along the borders of the property, up along the side of the horse trails, down along the road.
The dogs are free range, but never really leave her sight for long. ]
Six
1. NATURE
[ Who loves camping? Six loves camping! And he needs to get out of the house, alright.
So if someone ventures to the lakeside, they'll find a rather smartly made tent, a neat fire, and and two rows of hanging fish, each one suspended on a line strung between long sticks. Six will be at the lakeside, doing some...fishing? Yes, fishing. With knives, which he throws into the water with a flick of his wrist and then yanks back with a line.
If not fishing, he'll be napping, either on a warm rock or atop a branch.
And at night, with the fire crackling beside him, he'll be mainly stargazing. ]
2. BIRB
[ In one of the corner fields, there is a large patch of vegetables. They look just shy of fully grown, their bright green leaves swaying slightly in the warm summer breeze. They give off a hearty, sweet-earth scent; the air is heavy with their aroma anywhere downwind.
A certain bird - huge, gray, with small wings and long legs - is currently shuffling just outside the fence. He's turning his head this way and that to eye the vegetables, then to glance behind, up, between his legs, before he just...inches closer...and hops up onto the fence. ]
