WHAT: Houka did a bad thing and now he has to say sorry.
WARNINGS: Violence (in the form of someone being beat up, and someone being whipped) SO... yeah.

Houka arrives back at the shared apartment, fully aware of what he must do. Per Gamagori's permission, he intends to apologize for his actions. Mostly to Gamagori and Sanageyama, but really, to anyone who's there to listen. In some way or another, he knows he's said or done something awful to his roommates, and it took that time in solitary confinement to really get that through to him. He had to be better. They deserved better.

Inumuta sends a look to Gamagori when he steps inside, the other nodding at his arrival, knowing full well what he plans to do, and takes a seat on the living room couch. Sanageyama joins him as well, kicking his feet onto the coffee table by said couch. Anyone who happens to be in the apartment at the time is free to sit in, it's not as if Inumuta minds. He is a proud individual, but not so proud that he'd be too embarrassed to apologize to someone who he thought he ought to apologize to.

Once the two are on the couch, Inumuta begins.

"I messed up. That much is obvious. Aside from getting caught, I did this without speaking to either of you. I thought I could handle it. I didn't think this would be a big deal, a simple information gather. It obviously wasn't. I underestimated what I was up against, and I'm lucky that I was let off easily. If this had been a more dangerous situation, things would not be so fortunate, I'm sure." Inumuta pauses, looking over both of their facial expressions, and continues. "I was reckless. I thought of no one but myself, rather than thinking of us as a team. I'm sorry for not telling either of you what I was doing until it was too late, and for failing to get us more information. I resign to whatever punishments the two of you intend for me."

He bows deeply and rigidly.

"Please forgive me, Gamagori and Sanageyama."

And that's how you lose with dignity, Sanageyama.

"No, it really wouldn't. Your years are longer, but they're not that long."

"A life changing event can take place in a matter of minutes. Unless your life is full of uneventful minutes, in which case I suppose a year could do nothing for you."

"I searched the galaxy for the All-Spark for over fifty years and fought in a war for longer than that," Starscream remarked, with a flippant wave. "Minutes don't really mean anything to me."

"And am I supposed to be impressed by your fifty year long trek of incompetency?" Inumuta replies, arms crossed tightly. "I guess if you're used to being alone for so long, then you're right. Why bother making friends?"

[harryingjet]

"It wasn't incompetency," Starscream snapped, glaring at Inumuta. "I found what I needed in the end, so it paid off."

[databoner]

"You found the "All-Spark" then?" Because color him surprised.

[harryingjet]

"In the end I did." Sort of. Not really. He found it, tried to get it, then failed entirely.

[databoner]

"And was it worth it?" Not knowing Starscream is lying, because well, why would he?

[harryingjet]

"Before the Autobots broke it, I'd say it was." Of course, not that he's bitter about the Autobots breaking the All-Spark. After all, it is due to a shard of that handy plot device that he's still living.

[databoner]

"Ah. The Autobots. Your enemies. Isn't the All-Spark supposed to be this ultimate piece of power? Why would they break it?"

[harryingjet]

"I'm led to believe it was an accident." The key phrase here is 'led to believe'...mostly because Starscream was dead at the actual time of the All-Spark breaking.

"I didn't actually see it happen, just its aftereffects."

[databoner]

"Accident."

Some serious staring happening here.

"And is stupidity inherent to your race, or just thrust upon them by circumstance?"

"Oh that's rich coming from the human who brought us here to apologize for his incompetency!"

S-SPUTTER. "I wasn't apologizing to you!"

"Oh of course you weren't." Yeah, he doesn't believe that. Captain Ego's got an ego.

"I don't owe you anything. I was apologizing to my friends- my family. I don't owe you anything."

"Oh, I'm sure you tarred my reputation by association," Starscream responded, with a little shrug.
