WHO: Houka Inumuta, Uzu Sanageyama, Ira Gamagori, Senketsu?
WHERE: Apartment #29, Heropa.
WHEN: Backdated to April 6th, around 2AM.
WHAT: ROOMMATES??
WARNINGS: None so far. Possibly swearing in the future.
He's been at apartment #29 for a while.
Houka may have landed at approximately the same time as his other roommates, but he was quicker to get to their shared apartment and claim his room before anyone else had even arrived. A need for immediate privacy was what drove Inumuta to arrive so early, and once he had settled in to the new atmosphere, he could feel as if he could breathe a little better. As if it wasn't bad enough that he had been left behind- timeline wise- in comparison to his other teammates, but to not have some breathing room to himself? He really couldn't take that.
Having already mapped out the layout of the house, Inumuta settled into the living room, browsing his new communicator for network posts and waiting for his other roommates to arrive. While he wanted to measure the extent of his new abilities- these new powers he could just feel underneath his skin- he kept it under control, containing himself at least until all of his teammates arrived. He wasn't sure the full extent of his abilities, but if they were anything dangerous, he would want at least Gamagori and Sanageyama around to help him with the fallout.

No. Wait. Let him rephrase the question.
"...I'm not expected to stay in a closet?"
no subject
Well, it makes sense since he's a uniform, but...
"Not if you don't want to..."
no subject
Except for when Fight Club existed, but that was a fleeting experience at best.
no subject
He starts walking, gesturing for Senketsu to follow.
"If not then we can just assign you whichever."
should get the bedroom closest to the kitchen like the hufflepuff he is
"I wonder if the surprises will ever stop with this place."
Complaining?
...yeah, a bit.
no subject
Anyway, Inumuta had said the third room, so...skipping that, he just starts showing him the rooms one by one.

Senketsu find himself drawn to the windows, checking the kind of view they have. It's hard to tell with how dark it is now, but it's enough to get a general idea.
"Being brought back, sent to another world, given a body. They gave you your Goku Uniform back, and gave you that confounded device--"
He abruptly cuts himself off and looks silently at Sanageyama with a serious expression.

He breathes in.
"I told her that she had outgrown me," he says quietly, as if the shut door didn't provide enough privacy as it was.

He doesn't know how to handle this.
no subject
Awkward.
"She, uh - it's not like I hang out with Matoi or anything, I don't know how she's doing."
Literally the only thing he could think of to say.
no subject
He says it so confidently, as if he'd seen it for himself.
"Me, on the other hand..."
Senketsu turns to Sanageyama, clearly angry at the situation...as far as the word "angry" can apply to Senketsu.
"As far as I can tell, there is no Life Fiber threat on this planet. Ryuuko and miss Satsuki aren't here, so the best candidates to wear me are you Devas, and certainly none of you are going to jump at the chance. I fail to see why I was brought here, since I have just as much chance of hurting our comrades as I do helping them.
"I'm clothing without an owner, mister Sanageyama. Do you have any idea what that feels like?"
He presses a hand against his own chest.
"And this is no consolation prize. You saw for yourself that I'm meant to function as I always have."
no subject
Maybe on some level it's a similar feeling to abandonment...but he can't know for sure.
"Alright, alright-" He's trying to sound sympathetic, at least.
"I understand this probably feels weird, but...try to understand we're not exactly sure what we're supposed to be doing here either.
"Can't you try living for yourself for a while? You have plenty of options here you never would have had before. It's a time to try new things."
no subject
He sighs.
"They've even given me employment. How I feel on the matter is inconsequential. But as long as you, and perhaps the others, are willing to feed me when needed, I can try to adapt to a human-like life."
Senketsu looks away and awkwardly scratches at his neck with a single claw.
"...I apologize, mister Sanageyama. I'm not expecting you to fix anything, I only wanted to get that off of my chest. Without Ryuuko around, the burden ended up falling to you."
no subject
"...well, maybe not Inumuta. But that's nothing personal."
Time sure is weird. But if they tell him Senketsu is okay, he'll be okay with it. Uzu takes a step or two closer and extends his hand towards him, giving Senketsu a nod.
"We'll support you just like we would any other comrade."
no subject
Inumuta is a special case for a variety of reasons, none of which Senketsu is planning to take personal offense with.
"All of you made sacrifices to put your faith in Ryuuko and I. That won't be forgotten, and it's the reason why I've confided in you."
He reaches out to take Sanageyama's hand, but it ends up being more...one hand inside of another than a fully fledged handshake.
no subject
He tries initiating a handshake on his end anyway.
"...like this. Shake my hand."
no subject
"Doing it wrong again? Maybe I really do belong in someone's closet instead."
And yet he tries anyway.
no subject
So he just laughs, shaking his head.
"You'll get used to things eventually, don't worry about it."
no subject
Senketsu opens the door so that they can make their way to the next room, but not without briefly glancing at his hand and making a grim realization.
"...I'll have to learn how to write."
no subject
He doesn't...entirely want to be the one to have to teach him. Even if that's not what Senketsu had in mind, it comes to his own head immediately.
"Maybe someone will be willing to teach you. You could always ask later."
no subject
He shrugs.
"I'm not going to learn it overnight anyway. Right now I just want to decide on a place to sleep."
It's been a long day for a resurrected Kamui.
no subject
"Any of the rooms catch your eye?"
...no pun intended.
