what the hell am i doing here, what do i deserve?
WHO: Sarah Manning and George O'Malley
WHERE: Nonah, #007 > Some bar
WHEN: Backdated to September 7
WHAT: A ~DATE~
WARNINGS: Language, probably. Thanks, Sarah.
[ Sarah has never really done dates. Not the kind where the guy picks you up at the door at a prearranged time, anyway. Her romantic life has always been less… structured. Yeah, that's a good word for it. God, what a joke. Even with Cal, arguably the most sane relationship she's had in a long time, things have been so hectic and filled with clone drama that they hadn't had a chance to do much of anything together before she got Ported in. And now this seemingly normal guy. He's a nurse, for god's sake. Well, surgeon-turned-nurse, anyway.
She's not sure which bar they're going to, but she has a feeling punk rock's not George's style, so she dresses a bit nicer than she might be otherwise. Better to save the real punk stuff for later. Assuming there is a later. She can't help but be nervous as she answers the door—for a lot of reasons—but she manages to hide it well. Acting's always been her thing, after all. ]

Hey, man.

[He carefully watched her drink it.]
Well?
no subject
[ She takes another sip, more slowly this time. ]
Yeah, I think it's definitely up there.
no subject
Yeah? I can handle a little competition.
no subject
[ She's kinda teasing him, but it is good. ]

You'll make it work for you. It can be your slogan or some shit—"food to die for."
no subject
[He gives a dorky little smile, and then tugs her a bit closer by the arm, silently asking permission to kiss her again.]

We could, uh, take these upstairs. Or something.

I want to.
no subject
Okay. Yeah. Good.

He turns towards Sarah, voicelessly asking for some kind of approval. A signal that she hasn't changed her mind about him in the last thirty seconds.]

Almost as soon as he turns to glance at her, she's crossing the distance between them. When she reaches him, she crushes her mouth to his, this time rougher, more aggressive, pushing him toward the bed at the same time and fumbling with the buttons on his shirt, the movements clumsy and almost frantic. ]

Sorry.
no subject
It's okay.

This is good with you, yeah?

[He nods, unable to get the last word out without it turning into something embarrassing.]
no subject
[ Because if he was like, "actually, no," that would be pretty embarrassing. ]
no subject
[Same question. Still can't speak with her looking down at him like that. He reaches up to smooth one hand through her hair.]
