[ If you're at all close to Hiro (or are coming along with M'gann), you received a message to come to Heropa Residence #016 to come help sort out the poor kid's brain. The entire log will take place ICly on July 5th; however, the post itself will be open as long as necessary to allow everyone who wants to participate enough time to do so.

[ At least it's still obviously Hiro behind the mask; the faceplate is clear even if his small stature didn't make his identity obvious. Baymax lifts off and begins carefully flying his way through the scattered bits of debris. It's ... strangely beautiful, especially once they pull out into a section that gives them a great view of the void. ]

Dunno. I guess it's a space between worlds.

It's beautiful.

[But M'gann had said to stay focused, and he'd already gotten distracted enough times.]

But I think there's somewhere important in here. Have you seen anything that shouldn't belong?

Shouldn't belong?

[ He gestures at - well, everything. All the rubble, all the junk. ]

Dude, this is where everything ends up. We take care of all of it.

[tadeadshi]

Well - maybe something weirder than the rest? More recent, in the last month or so.

[microbrobotics]

[ One has to think for a moment; a HUD flickers behind his helmet, which he uses to scan the horizon. ]

I guess there's something ... But it's been here way longer than a month. Try twice that long.

[tadeadshi]

Has it?

[He looks back out into the void, trying to guess what direction it'd be. But it's impossible in this place.]

Can you take me to it?

Hold on tight.

[ Hiro and Baymax change direction then, arcing towards a tiny sliver of concrete near the void. As they approach, something tugs at them - he has trouble keeping control over Baymax's flight pattern. But they're close now, almost enough to reach out and touch that ice shard stuck up there... ]

H-hold on really tight...

[tadeadshi]

Whoa -

[Tadashi keeps a strong hold on Baymax's armor. Tries to really take in the feeling. Subconscious or not, it's still flying on his robot. The swirls of clouds and smoke are breathtaking in any other scenario. But he keeps his eyes open until they come to the concrete - and the shard.]

That's it - That's what I'm looking for. Can you get me a little closer? I'll get it out.

[microbrobotics]

If you get any closer, you might fall off.

[ And that void would be a pain to get back from. Hiro still angles a bit closer, reluctantly. The shard is just within reach... ]

[tadeadshi]

[He bites down on his lip looking up to the shard.]

... Keep it steady.

[And then carefully, so so carefully, he starts to stand up on Baymax's back, making sure his feet have solid footholds before rising up to reach for the shard. He holds his breath as he wraps his hand around it and starts to pull.]

[microbrobotics]

[ Just as Tadashi gets his hands on it, it lurches backwards. If Tadashi insists on holding on, he'll be dragged right off Baymax's back. ]

Tadashi!

[tadeadshi]

[He gives a short cry but holds on, feeling his feet suddenly lose the solid footing beneath them. Okay, so. Plan B.]

Just -- Just stay close!

[With a tug, he rights himself so he can put his feet to the concrete and use the leverage to pull at the shard. His shoes' treads were not made for this kind of pressure; even as the shard starts inching loose, his feet are slipping.]

[ They hover as close as they dare. Hiro stands up on the bot himself and stretches as far as he can go, reaching desperately for his brother. Just a few more inches...

Meanwhile, the shard loosens. A few more taps and it pops out neatly - possibly a little too quickly, given Tadashi's precarious position. ]
