He has a lot of friends. I'm sure this experience will strengthen things, even if it becomes difficult...though I admit I have no expertise in dream diving.
I entered in my normal state, so I was perfectly aware of my surroundings...It was strange. [ He scratches Mochi behind the ears and earns himself a louder purr. ] Humans have such disjointed dreams.

[That's not a surprise. What is a surprise is the fact that Magicman actually managed to get sucked in too, while Khaji had been notably absent for the whole thing. That's the one consistency that he remembers, that he had panicked about the entire time: Khaji's voice had completely vanished.]
That means that you just visited others' dreams instead of having your own?
no subject
So I did have my own dream, in a sense. But it was just a projection of memory data, taking a different form.
But I did visit other people's dreams, yes. It was an interesting experience.

[Jaime stretches his legs in front of himself, recalling the seemingly endless dreams he had seen. Did anyone have good dreams the whole time? He wonders. He doubts it. Nothing caused by some crazy guy going around calling himself the devil could be a good thing.]
Projections of memory is sort of what a dream is, anyway, only it gets all twisted up. Can't dream about anything that you don't already know about, y'know?
no subject
[ He shrugs. He remembers with clarity the way things had changed and shifted over time, though it's not as accessible to him in a human form right now. ]
It makes sense. But humans are...more abstract. Less organised. I have to admit, it seems inefficient and startling, but you seem to be all very used to it.

[Khaji never dreams. He only sits, and waits for Jaime to wake up. There are several mornings where he's woken up by one bored AI, anxious to get the day started so he can do something beyond soak up all the information he can get from the Internet, several nights where Khaji was more than happy to keep him company while he can't sleep.]
Did you like it? Or, the good ones?
no subject
It was sad, I think. [ He says it like he's unsure of what he's feeling. ] The worst memories seem to be the strongest ones, in dreams. For good reason, of course.
I feel--sorry. For the people who saw mine. [ He sighs. ] But that can't really be helped.
no subject
So... the memories that you were going through were bad ones? [He asks, a little tentatively.]
no subject
[ He seems a little annoyed, more than anything. They're things that are better left alone, but at the same time, not telling them weighs on him. So it was a relief, in a way. ]
You didn't have a good time, I assume. [ It's not hard to guess. ]
no subject
[And okay, so maybe all the nightmares he had seen are nightmares that have the possibility of happening on a normal night, but he'd like to think that they all have some pleasant dreams sprinkled throughout as well. It would only be fair.]
no subject
[ He shrugs. ] But that was one, out of a few. I was only out for a few hours, so that may have had something to do with it. A lot of people caught it when it began, so there was plenty of room for bad dreams. [ That had been a worry, and remembering that worry shows in his tone of voice. ]
no subject
I have no idea whether or not someone even caught the guy who was responsible for it. Really messed some people up for a while.
no subject
Hiro had panicked, at least until he'd fallen asleep too. ]
There was that person who decided it would be a good idea to broadcast while in a hospital full of unconscious staff, but I haven't yet decided whether he was the instigator or just incredibly dense.

[He rolls his eyes.] Supervillains freakin' love bragging about the stuff they do.
no subject
[ He laughs a little. ] You must lead a charmed life, to have that kind of experience with supervillainy.
no subject
[Not that it isn't for superheroes too, to a certain extent, but at least they're not stealing cameras.]
That's what makes them supervillains instead of regular old criminals though, I guess. That, and the goofy names.
