[ closed ] i've got no love for the living
WHO: jonathan joestar & will graham & minato arisato & annie leonhart
WHERE: the bahamas in general
WHEN: 18th/19th of March
WHAT: two adults come to bail two teenagers out of the bahamas and punch a rich dude while doing so.
WARNINGS: PUNCHING A RICH DUDE at some point i hope
Once Annie and Minato had made it to a populated island (which just took swimming, even if swimming in Titan form was an adventure onto itself), finding a phone she could borrow to call back to the United States proved to be a creative process. The cost of international calls had ultimately led to Annie deciding morals were something she could afford a fraction of the time, starting and ending her brief career as a pickpocket with American tourists. One pay-per-minute calling card later, she's using a phone she also had to buy in order to call one of the few numbers she had memorized.
Calling Houka was an exercise in asking for favors and information to be passed along to the people who immediately needed to know what was going on. Handling more of this would have to wait until they were all back stateside. Her calls over and accounted for, knowing that she's left what she can in capable hands, Annie had handed the phone off to Minato so he could repeat the process with his friends.
They still had to track down the man responsible. It seemed unlikely to her he'd leave the area even after his technology had been destroyed - he wanted the hunt too badly, thought he had a right to what he was doing. This was just another part of the challenge.
Which meant keeping aware while figuring out a way to get to the airport for when Will and Jonathan would be arriving.
... and figuring out a way to attract their attention at the airport.

violence isn't the answer
I can breathe underwater, that won't be a problem for me. But... [He manages to look around in the exact same manner Annie had, a complete mirror. Only taller, with darker hair, and facial scruff. An uncannily wrong mirror.] ...I don't know what everyone else can do.
[Which, hey, if everyone else wants to go on board and punch a rich dude while Will hangs out underneath his super fancy yacht and screws with the wiring so it can't go anywhere no matter how much people aboard try to fix it on top? He is A-okay with that one.]
it's the question, and the answer is yes
the conclusion is conveniently timed with Will's statement; he clears his throat slightly, wanting to attract attention in the least obtrusive way possible rather than suddenly choking on all this delicious sea air.]
I could walk all of us out to the boat, if no one minds being carried.
[is he legitimately offering to just carry three people across the ocean? yes, apparently he is. you guys are wimps compared to the rugby teams of ye olde Englande.]

Until I get my Evoker back, I'm like a normal person, [he puts in,] but I don't mind being carried.
[No incredulity here at all that he'll just... carry them over the water.]

[ Annie looks over at Jonathan. Things the ripple can do... she'll have to incorporate this into dodging training. Three people being carried by one (large but not gigantic) man?
It'll look odd, but whatever. She too wants this over with. ]
I'm fine with it.

The teenagers don't mind clambering atop King Beefcake, Will would look like an ass (an immature ass) if he protested. He can just easily go swimming, but Jonathan had included them all in the being carried plan. The momentary "what the hell no" vanishes before he can put up any verbal protest, and the raised eyebrow that displayed incredulity quickly turns into something more passive. Whatever floats the boat to get them to boat, he guesses. No point in being the opposite of a team player, especially when one member of the party has been injured.]
Yeah, all right. [He shrugs, no big deal. He spent the entire flight next to Jonathan, quietly awed by how larger than he life he was. Might as well see how far that extends when he's offering to basically serve as Jesus.] Carried works for me, too.
[Though if Jonathan can't just grab them all up (things that would not surprise Will at all, that), Will's more than ready to serve as that guy who gives the others a boost to get where they need to go. A gentle boost. A not-ruining-that-ankle-further boost.]
