[ Heropa may have quality fish markets, but Gil still dreads the Floridian sun and humidity whenever he takes the time to come down from Maurtia Falls. The city itself generally tends to be overcast and since winter is technically not over, Gil keeps his coat on until he's made it over to Heropa. For now, the coat hangs over his arm as he makes his way to the stores and displays. He can only pray the weather doesn't start curling his hair the way it usually does.
He doesn't notice the young woman standing outside one shop at first ― at least until he passes by that same shop on his way to a different vendor. (He has to compare prices after all.)
About fifteen minutes later, he makes his way to a different shop to pick up some herbs and realizes the same woman is still there. Is she lost? She appears as if she's loitering, though he could be mistaken in that she's waiting for someone.
Another fifteen minutes pass and he finds her hanging around the area still. Nobody else seems to have approached her. While he normally would leave strangers to their own devices, this is getting a bit odd, so he slowly approaches her to ensure everything is alright. ]
Um, excuse me? Ma'am?

[ For most imPorts, the longer they've been around, the easier it is for them to pick up at times who else may be an imPort and who is clearly new to the city.
Gil is still a few blocks away from home when he spots a dark-haired woman with a curious expression, scoping out everything in their vicinity though there's barely much to see but local shop signs, street lights, and the various locals who walk on by. They don't give Hawke as much as a second glance, no matter her attire.
Well aware no local is going to stop and offer their assistance, he steps toward this woman, raising a hand to signal her. ]
Pardon.
[ The closer he gets, the clearer it is for him to see she's rather... imposing. He waits for her to say something in return, hoping this wasn't a mistake. ]

[ He doesn't like to smoke in the apartment when Kenzi is around, so sometimes he'll crack open his window or he'll step outside the building to satiate his nicotine cravings. Once in a while Gil goes for a stroll throughout the area, in need of some fresh air (while poisoning his lungs, naturally) and some time to himself.
It's how he ends up passing through one of the more louder areas. Not a party person, he's more than ready to pick up the pace and slip right on by without a drunkard noticing him. However, when casts a sidelong glance at the entrance, he can see the bouncer scrutinizing a young girl and refusing to budge from his spot. It holds up the line, which seems to annoy a good number of locals waiting. A few young men going in together are whispering to one another, pointing to the young girl.
Something about it doesn't right with Gil, and now that he's seen it he can't just walk away and leave this young girl to try and get into a club she's clearly not legally allowed to enter.
He hurries across, trying to come up with some kind of cover, but ultimately fails when he reaches the door and the girl. ]
Uh... oh! There... you are. Come on, now's not the time...
Sorry. [ He mumbles so only the girl can hear as he gently places both hands on her shoulders to steer her away from the door. ] Just bear with it for a moment.
