WHAT: A big imPort charity fair!
WARNINGS: Everyone's traumatic past and all that entails. No really. Everyone's. Please use your own discretion.

There's an imPort charity fair going on down at a park by the beach in fair Heropa, today! You've probably seen it advertised for a couple of weeks, now. In the newspaper, on the network, flyers on street posts-- so on and so forth. All proceeds go towards the safety net fund for unsettled imPorts! Their aim as stated is to ensure all imPorts who come here-- especially children-- don't feel pressured in to registering just because they're worried they won't be able to get a job or have anywhere to live otherwise. They've been around for a while. Perhaps you've received help from them already, or heard of them in passing.

Perhaps you're just lured by the promise of food and drink.

Or perhaps you'd like to try to try your hand at some of the amateur game stalls set up?

Maybe you were just walking past and came to see what all the commotion was about.

Or maybe you're genuinely interested in the charity and wished to put a donation straight in the box, or wanted to suss out the man in charge. (Mandrake's around, talking to potential donors.)

Maybe you've come because you're interested in the advertisement of the charity's free resume building help and networking services for imPorts.

Or perhaps, like any seasoned imPort, you just don't trust large gatherings of imPorts in one place to not go wrong, and you're here on guard in case the worst should happen.

Whatever the case, the weather is fine and the fair seems to be bustling. Plenty of imPort-sympathetic locals are here as well, mingling and generally having a good time. What are you doing in the crowd?

[You may officially begin your memory sharing shenanigans! As per the OOC post, characters don't have to participate in this log to participate in the plot, but the purpose of the log is to help facilitate as much memory sharing in one place as possible to avoid flooding. Side-effects should wear off on imPorts by Sunday night!]

He looked like a bigger version of what I showed you before, right? Baymax instead of Baymini?

[ Well he's convinced now. As for what that means for the vaccine ... ]

Shit. I need to get back to the lab.

[ Lana looks around at the crowd, suddenly paranoid. ]

How many people did you guys vaccinate?

A lot. A looooot of people. So if this is a side effect, we're about to be hip deep in it.

[ Eyes widening, she nods. ]

You need to get back to your lab.

No kidding! C'mon, we need to get to the bus stop right now.

[ What? ]

I'm coming with you? What help could I possibly be?

[ But she's following him anyway. ]

I need a test subject, duh!

[ Wow. Doesn't THAT sound like a great time. He's already booking it here. ]

[ Rolling her eyes. ] Been there, done that.

[ They clear the crowd and reach the bus stop. Ugh, waiting. ]

Screw the bus, I can get us there faster.

It won't hurt, I swear. I just really need someone else who's had the vaccine so that we can have two points of reference and not just me.

[ He blinks, looking up at her. ]

How?

Flying, duh.

[ She crouches a little and offers him her back. ]

Get on.

[ H...huh. Not quite what he was expecting - or entirely comfortable with. But they've gotta move fast and she's offering, so he reluctantly moves to get on. At least he's not very heavy. ]

Okay, if you say so...

[ As soon as he's climbed on, she turns her head to say, ] Hang on tight.

[ Then there's a loud BOOM! beneath them, and they're off. ]

[ WHOA. If he wasn't holding on tight before, he sure is clinging now. ]

Holy--

[ A couple blasts takes them well up into the air, above the hovercars and a good chunk of the buildings. ]

Which way's Stark's?

I - uh -

[ Right. Cool your jets. Not that much different from riding Baymax. ]

Over there to the west.

Right.

[ West it is. It doesn't take them long to reach it, and she lands on the roof without incident, letting Hiro slide off her back. ]

Well that went well.

[ She maybe could have mentioned she'd never flown while carrying someone before. ]

[ He slides down carefully, his legs all turned to jelly. ]

Yeah - uh - wow, you do that a lot?

Uh, the flying? Yeah, I do that a fair amount, when I'm being Bombshell.

That's amazing. Bet you never take public transportation anywhere.

Eh. It's fun, sure, but it's not so great for keeping a low profile.

[ He digs out his badge and swipes them both in. Down to the lab area ... His setup is a mess, of course, with about a half dozen of those Bayminis in various stages of production. ]
