i been everywhere with you (that's true)
Aug. 7th, 2016 01:53 amWHO: Clara Oswald and OPEN
WHERE: De Chima, and various
WHEN: August 1-31
WHAT: Catch-all log for the month of August
WARNINGS: None so far!
[a. De Chima; OTA]
[Really, there are a good number of reasons to be out and about in downtown De Chima at 2:00 in the morning. Maybe you're an insomniac with a hankering for some takeout, or perhaps you've just gotten off of a late shift. Either way, it's a fairly quiet city, and there's no reason to just expect a woman to suddenly climb out of the window you're passing.
Clara's agile, but she isn't quite graceful, and she makes a fair bit of noise as she tries to get one of her boots past the windowsill. Only then does she see that she isn't quite alone.]
Oh. Sorry about the noise. Don't mind me one bit.
[There's a tear in her leather jacket, but the ripped skin beneath it doesn't seem to be bleeding. Something about this situation is a little bit off...]
[b. Somewhere in Mississippi; closed to the Doctor]
Unless that thing has a petrol setting, we're going to have to walk.
[Clara rubs the bridge of her nose, leaning back against the door. The hot metal doesn't register on her skin, but the sunlight of high noon still has her squinting and grumpy. She waves a pamphlet in front of her face to block it out.]
And hey - if we walk far enough, we can- [she squints through her sunglasses to read the page] -see the World's Largest Cedar Bucket. Bet that's a draw.
