Gladion Catch-All + Feywild weirdness

WHO: Gladion & anyone (open)
WHERE: around the porter cities. Specifically Maurtia Falls & Heropa. But open to anywhere.
WHEN: during the month of may (who needs time, really?)
WHAT: catch-all, feywild event shenanigans as well
WARNINGS: alcohol mention (no drunkenness, but will update as needed).


May has come and Gladion can be found around any of the cities doing various things.

Between May 4th - May 8th, Gladion will be reverted back to a child for this (around age ten), while retaining all of his memories and thank Arceus his pokemon will be unaffected by this age down. However, he himself will be thoroughly unamused by all of this happening. He may start a fight, he may not, it depends on who you are and what you do or say to him. He shouldn’t be too much of a threat to anyone.

Between May 9th - May 14th, Gladion will be aged up to an adult (roughly around 25 or so) looking like an attractive man who semi resembles his mother in appearance with longer hair, only with a bit more of an attitude and not as much of those nasty little things she did. His attitude is a bit more mature and he’s less likely to start a fight with someone, although he still will get confrontational depending on who exactly it is depending on who he’s gotten to know.

With May 15th onwards, Gladion will revert back to normal in both size and correct age. He’ll be both confused and mildly irritated due to the age jumping, especially with having become older and seeing that he’s taking a bit after his mother in appearances.

Beach

[Fuu is taking advantage of the respite in weirdness to... well, to get away from people a bit. after her rather mortifying experience with the fey magic, it's hard to look anyone in the eye.

So she's alone on the beach, looking for interesting shells, when she spots an odd fox? feline? type of creature, quite striking with its black fur and gold markings. She crouches down for a better look, though she doesn't approach it directly--not an unfamiliar animal that might startle.]

My, aren't you a handsome one?

[Upon seeing the girl approach him, Umbreon, who was sunning in the sand, lifts his head when he hears someone approaching and looks the girl up and down before giving a friendly expression and shakes his tail happily.

Gladion, nearby on a beach towel and in swim trunks and a t-shirt, lets a laugh out while also grumbling while having Sneasel on a child harness and leash so the gremlin didn't go too far from him to cause trouble. Sneasel did not seem to be very pleased with that and sat in the shade of an umbrella nibbling on some ice cubes.]

He won't hurt you, he's friendly enough. Sometimes too friendly, but he knows how to defend himself if anyone tried to hurt him. It's okay to pet him, he acts like he doesn't get enough of them.

Ah, is he yours? [There's another odd-looking creature next to the boy, this one looking pretty grouchy... either about being on the leash, or just being really intense about its ice-cube noshing. Maybe both.

But if this one is friendly, Fuu will have no further hesitation about petting him. She may not own a pet herself, but she adores other people's.] Well, you can never have too many pets, can you?

[That's addressed to the little animal, of course. But she should really introduce herself to the human.]

He is, yes. He loves attention and won't bite, the worst he'll do is try and climb into your lap and act like it's the end of the world if he's not getting enough pets.

[being leashed, it's definitely the leashing that's got Sneasel so grumpy because he can't go out and steal people's things while leashed.

Umbreon trills happily to her question and makes himself look even cuter, almost begging to be petted even.]

Gladion. It's nice to meet you as well, Fuu.

[Fuu giggles at that description--and at the way the little black creature immediately confirms Gladion's description of it by putting on a fine display of big adorable eyes. She happily obliges with some ear scritches.]

So these pets of yours... [Well, she's been around this Earth long enough to know what Pokemon are and a little bit of what they're about, though now that she thinks of it, she doesn't really know the people attached to them that well--apart from a couple of encounters with Archie and just. generally being aware of Guzma's very loud presence.] They're... something like guardians, aren't they?

/slow brain noises

[Umbreon immediately starts wagging his tail and making a purr-like noise, elated and over the moon with the pets, furthering his trainer's words even more with the attention!]

Guardians? [He's never thought of it that way, but it really isn't that far off from the truth really.] I suppose you could say that, back home we do have some of them that guard us. They fight in place of us when fighting is done... Usually.
