open; feb catch-all
WHO: Kanan Jarrus and HOPEFULLY YOU!
WHERE: Mostly Maurtia Falls but can be other places
WHEN: First half of February.
WHAT: Some open prompts n stuff; come talk to a sad dead Jedi dad. I can match your style; brackets or prose welcome.
WARNINGS: Uhhhh probably nothing will update if necessary
[ 1; NeoJedha; Open ]
[ Kanan divides his time pretty evenly between the Endeavor Center and NeoJedha - though in some ways, NeoJedha needs more of a personal touch. The EC is big enough that it almost runs itself a lot of the time, but NeoJedha is smaller, more personal to him - so he often finds himself here of an evening, not just to sign paperwork and check over budget proposals, but to actually talk to some of the kids, help them, teach them.
This evening, though, he finds himself wandering into the kitchen. ]
Something smells delicious, I gotta say.
[ 2; Housemates; ]
[ Ever since Martin talked him into moving, Kanan has been... well, he hasn't necessarily been living in the house full time, but he's been sleeping there a couple nights a week? Having dinner there once in a while. That kind of thing. Of course, when he's not there, no one would even realize he lives there, since he doesn't really have any personal possessions and the bedroom he sleeps in is pristine, with zero personalization.
But he is here, sometimes. Today, he's in the kitchen, trying to make coffee. ]
Ah, damn, they need to make these buttons more tactile.
[ 3; Light(saber) show; ]
[ He's meeting Cayde here, in a park at sunset, but he doesn't necessarily have to wait for Cayde to start, right? He's got to warm up, after all. Or something.
It's easy - old habit, muscle memory, working through the forms slowly. The Way of the Mynock, it's called, the technique his Master, Depa Billaba, had specialized in - the one she taught him to use during the Clone Wars. It's efficient, a defensive form, particularly suited to close-quarters fights and deflecting blaster fire. It's smooth, slow, almost like a dance as he moves from one stance to the next, the blue of his lightsaber flashing against the colors of the sunset, though he can't see it. He still knows what it looks like. ]
[ 4; wildcard! ]
[ If you've got another idea, toss it up or ping me at
